Adventure of a lifetime! My 12-year-old daughter and I just returned from 5 nights at the Angama Mara and then 3 at Amgama Amboseli. This was without a doubt the trip of a lifetime! The camp is absolutely stunning and the team at Angama is amazing. Tash managed our booking and was insanely helpful! She is the one who made this trip happen. She is wonderful and put together a perfect itinerary. Elly was our guide and could spot a mouse from a mile away. He made our game drives informative and fun. Wiki is the absolute best! He was our butler for the stay and one of the kindest people I have ever met. He was up early with coffee for me and tea for my daughter and took amazing care of us. Diana, Bonaface, and the rest of the team were all outstanding. The meals are delicious. Plan on bringing clothes a size bigger as you are beyond well-fed. We were lucky enough to do the Out of Africa lunch and I highly recommend it as the spot is stunning. We saw all of the Big 5, enjoyed stunning views from the escarpment, and hope that we will be lucky enough to return one day. We had high expectations for the trip and they were exceeded in every way.

Of all the places I've visited, this was the most amazing!!! I can't wait to go back. It began with the friendly welcome home greeting, and I did feel like it could be home. Moses was so knowledgable on the game drive, and we saw every animal - even the rhino. Wiki was so attentive and always worried that I wasn't eating enough. The "tents" if you could really call them that were a class above any hotel room I ever stayed in. Food was delicious and all the staff attentive and wonderful. Last minute, my husband's doctor said he couldn't travel; however, I was completely at ease traveling alone there. It was the experience of a lifetime.....looking to bring my two grandsons on an adventure they will remember forever.

Heaven on earth. Looooove loooove this place. The warmth of your staff, the peace and serenity of the place is unmatched. Been to other places but what I experienced at Angama is out of this world. Home away from Home. Thank you so much Angama.

From the moment you get picked up from the airstrip the hospitality is out of this world. The Angama team make you feel special and at home. The view from the escarpment and your room is breathtaking! The service is second to none, you are served by a dedicated staff member throughout your trip, the team ensure you have a diverse experience over your stay eg bush barbecue one night, a cocktail sundowner the next night etc. The food is amazing and catered for your needs, amazing portions, fresh and beautifully balanced flavours.

I have stayed at resorts all over the world, and Angama Mara tops the list. My family stayed for 4 nights, and that was the ideal length of time to experience all that Angama Mara had to offer. Adlight took care of every detail, ensuring our family had special experiences each day. Joseph, our safari guide, helped us see the Big 5 and incredible wildlife. Lodging comfortable, meals exquisite, and the setting serene. We can't wait to return.

Showstopping views. Gorgeous interior design and architecture. Huge rooms with claw foot tubs. Lots of personal attention from Jonny (angama agent) Francis (dining butler) and Roy (room butler). Ekai and Jakob our guides were very determined to get us our wish list of animal experiences. Great companions. Lots of laughs. Super memorable drives. We loved to Maasai evening at the Boma where they recognized our birthdays and 20th. The shamba lunch in the garden. Cool boutique where we did custom beading. Loved it all.

We stayed for 5 nights at Angama Mara and we were so sad to leave. Apart from the wonderful wildlife including predators , the ambience of the camp was remarkable . Most important the staff here couldn’t have been more attentive . Our butler Caroline was a real sweetheart and couldn’t do enough for us . Our guide Jackson showed great skill in discovering elusive predators . I am writing this sitting on our elevated balcony looking out across the Massai Mara as a sun sets on our final evening in Kenya .

There are very few words that can adequately describe the magic that the Angama Mara team gave us. From the moment we landed to the moment we left it was incredible. The staff (Daniel, Bonface and Saitoti were exceptional), the game, the views made the entire experience one to never forget. We will be back. Every little detail was taken care of. Be sure to do the out of Africa picnic!
