we stopped for coffee on a day trip. only coffee available was a cafetière, not great but not a disaster. ordered one for two people. the pot only had enough to give us each half a cup. the cups and saucers looked ancient. we sat outside as there was an awful smell in the bar and it didn t feel clean. the bar ceiling showed evidence of water damage and repair. when returning to the bar to pay the tray with dirty glasses was still sitting on top of the bar, it was there when we arrived 30 minutes earlier. the toilet bowls were stained yellow and all three soap containers were empty. an overall impression of dirtiness left us agreeing never to return.
