after being forced to leave Ibis Locarno because of partying teenagers, coming to hotel D'Angelo was such a relief, beautiful peaceful and antique ambiente, was just what I needed, the feeling of security, of staff fully in charge, being taken care of from A to Z, that's how a proper hotel will survive for 150 years, highly recommended

Posizione ideale, molto centro e sul lago. Camera spaziale ma molto vecchia ... bagno ancestrale con ventilazione che fa un rumore d’inferno, un bagno con un vecchio tappeto da doccia e una robinetta che data di molti decenni (nessun miscelatore) ... difficile da regolare la temperatura dell’acqua. Nessuna aria condizionata ... solo un ventilatore che non serve a nulla! Sala del piccolo pranzo non molto accogliente e il buffet con molto poca scelta! Purtroppo le camere non sono per meglio mantenute e soprattutto rinnovate e messe al gusto del giorno. Non ci sarei tornato!

Hotel Remorino is a small, intimate hotel in an excellent location not far from the lake and lessthan 500 m from the train station. We drove and found adequate parking just in front of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spotless. Housekeeping was exceptional and eager to help with blankets, towels , etc. the furnishings are not luxe but fitting for the style and cost of the hotel. Bathroom was large and modern. Special feature was the balcony. We were on the 3rd floor and enjoyed an obstructed but nice view of the lake. Even more impressive was the garden view. There are tables and chairs set in the garden which had lots of lawn, impressive shrubs and many date palms. There were few plants blooming in late August but we had the impression that May and June were another story. The pool is large and like everything else spotless. There is ample seating in poolside lounge chairs with umbrellas. They serve a rather full breakfast and again everything was tasty and much was sourced locally. In the afternoon you can order lunch, snacks, sweets, and cocktails. The quality and preparation was superb. Finally, the service and staff are also excellent,greeting us every time with a Buon giorno or buena sera. I plan on coming again next year.

Di solito sono rimasto direttamente a piedi, ma spontaneo tenta-super! Più tranquillo e vicino a tutto per coloro che possono camminare 5 minuti. Non abbiamo bisogno di parcheggio, ma siamo felici di sapere che ci sono posti disponibili. Torneremo. La prossima volta potremo provare il ristorante - siamo così sotterranei dalle scelte e non ho dato a andare questa volta. Grazie.

Avevo una camera grande con vista sul lago. Letto super comodo. Buona aria condizionata silenziosa. Luci, tende tutte controllate magicamente da un cruscotto vicino al tuo cuscino. Il check-in digitale non deve spaventarti poiché il proprietario amichevole è presente per aiutarti. È a cinque minuti a piedi da una spiaggia per famiglie sul lago e nelle vicinanze ci sono molti parcheggi molto economici. A cinque minuti di auto da Locarno e dai suoi ristoranti, questo è lo studio-hotel ideale per una pace e tranquillità totale mentre visiti le bellezze del Ticino. Nessuna colazione o ricevimento ufficiale, ma il proprietario è sempre in giro ed è pieno di buoni consigli su cosa vedere. Bevande gratuite in frigo. Una base di vacanza perfetta.

I would probably not Igive this hotel a top rating if rated for against all hotels I have ever stayed in. BUT, I will say that for a one or two night stay for a road side hotel. This is by far the best I have ever stayed at. The staff was super friendly, the ingress and egress (in and out) super easy, the food next door at the Marche was top notch. I mean for a road side eatery the Marche is also best in class. The hotel price point was on the mark and for Switzerland it was cheap. The all you can eat is expensive (29 Euros per person) but first it is Switzerland so you everything is over priced. Second, you will end up spending that amount if you order a la carte. If you are hungry and you want good quality and a fairly reasonable Swiss price then definitely take the all you can eat from the reception when they offer it. The room was modern, tasteful and and beds were comfortable enough. They do offer complimentary water, coffee, tea in the lobby and in the morning they have big Croissants and coffee which is enough especially after a huge dinner the evening before. We will definitely use this hotel again on our trips south to Italy. Well Done and hats off to Hotel Bellinzona Sud.
