Hotel in zona Kinzigsee, LoBburg

Let me start with the thing that made us leave asap: there was dried up urine all over the toilet seat and floor. I have been travelling a lot and have over 100 hotels only on *********** and probably an other 100 hotels through work and other agencies. And from those 200 hotels this is the fist time I have arrived at an hotel and just walked out and decided to stay in an other hotel. We did arrive at the hotel and the parking is just in front of the hotel, there are no safety measures, there are no gates or fences or lights, so your car is not any safer here than next to the public road. But nevertheless the hotel asks a fee of €10 for parking there. The lobby of the hotel feels like an 80's techno club: dark, black&red painted and decrepit. So after checkin we arrive at our room and put all our suitcases down (didn't felt safe to leave anything in the car) and we sit down at the bed for a moment. At that moment I noticed a black hair next to the pillow. So we take the sheets of the bed and there are multiple hairs all over the sheets. the sheets looked clean at first sight, so I don't know if it were the housekeepers hairs or the previous guest. So we clean the hears from the bed ourselves and I went to the toilet, the toilet cover was down, but the seat of the toilet was full of yellowish dried-up urine. Not just a few drops that somebody could have missed cleaning, but at least 20% of the seat was covered. This made me almost puke and I did notice that the ground was covered as well. I went to the reception, but they clearly don't like to deal with complaints, because they wouldn't help us. When I felt that the discussion was going nowhere and the receptionist was getting angry we just left and tried to contact the hotel via ***********. I've had a great experience with the customer care center of ***********, but unfortunately even they never got any response from the hotel. to the point that they even gave me the direct contact information of the hotel. I'm not a difficult person, mistakes can be made and everybody deserves a second chance, so the thing that bothered me the most was just that there never came any response or excuses from the hotel. Not to me or to their partner, ***********. there are plenty beautiful places and hotel in the Black Forest, enjoy your time there, just go in a large circle around this hotel.

Gezellig goed verzorgd kleinschalig hotel. Perfecte tussenstop in het prachtige Zwarte Woud als je onderweg naar Italië / Oostenrijk/ Zwitserland bent. Prima verblijf, mooi groot familie appartement met voldoende slaapruimte voor 4 volwassenen. Wat je niet ziet op de foto’s is dat achter de banken in de woonkamer nog twee slaapbanken zitten waar je prima op kunt slapen. Het boeken van een t****e kamer is niet nodig voor een overnachting. Wat wel heel erg fantastisch was was het ontbijt. Zeer goed verzorgd. De host maakte vers gebakken eieren / roerbak ei met spek. Zoet, hartig, verse broodjes. Top! En onze Mechelse herder was ook welkom!!

Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Stadt. Unser Zimmer im 6. Stock bietet einen weiten Blick auf Teile von Nagold (hier das markante Brückenbauwerk). Es war nicht sehr groß, jedoch ausreichend und durchdacht bis tricky (Schrank) funktional eingerichtet. Ein zweiter Stuhl für die Begleitperson wäre schön, jedoch ist in dieser Hotelkategorie ein solcher in zahlreichen Hotels nicht vorgesehen. Immerhin gab es einen Hocker, für etwas längeres Fernsehen jedoch unbequem. Die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert, jedoch nicht jedermann mag nachts wegen Erkältungsgefahr eine Klimaanlage mit Gebläse Richtung Bett laufen haben. So bei uns. Das offene Fenster hat hier gute Dienste geleistet. Seltsamerweise konnten normal laute Gespräche an einem bestimmten Tisch auf der 5 Stockwerke tiefer gelegenen Frühstücksterrasse im Zimmer mitgehört werden, was man erstens nicht möchte und zweitens dies beim Einschlafen stören kann, wenn dort bis spätnachts Menschen gemütlich zusammensitzen. Seltsame Akustik, dies ist jedoch ausdrücklich kein Vorwurf an das Hotel. Ansonsten waren keine hotelspezifischen Geräusche vernehmbar. Zimmer und Bad waren einwandfrei sauber. Das Personal war ohne Ausnahme sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ob an der Rezeption, die Reinemachefrau oder das Servicepersonal beim Frühstück. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit ausreichender Auswahl. Obwohl das Buffet an allen Tagen unverändert, war es dank großer Auswahl nicht langweilig, es wurde auch stets kontrolliert und es wurde entsprechend schnell nachgelegt. Hervorzuheben ist, jederzeit (auch außerhalb der Frühstückszeiten) steht Kaffee, Tee, Saft oder Wasser kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Mindestens ein Platz in der Tiefgarage, die an sich geräumig ist, kann beim Ein-, Ausparken eines leicht breiteren und längeren Fahrzeugs fahrerisches Geschick erfordern, nämlich dann, wenn umgebend Autos nicht sauber eingestellt sind und obendrein Fahrradträger hinten montiert sind. Unnötig sind die Mails, die man weit vor dem Check-in und gehäuft kurz davor erhält zwecks online Check-in. Eine einzige Ablehnung dieses Verfahrens sollte ausreichen. Insgesamt haben wir uns im ibis Styles Nagold wohlgefühlt und können uns einen weiteren Aufenthalt dort gut vorstellen.
