Meliá Lloret de Mar

Beds are the comfiest, very kind and friendly reception staff, nice rooms, Housekeeping are lovely. Unfortunately a very serious issue arose at dinner- they served very raw chicken, visibly raw from a distance on more than 5 pieces which were lying on the platter, from the outside, this isn’t the train I am writing a review though to expose them, had they have actioned it when I raised it I wouldn’t be writing this. But I told the lady grilling the chicken it was raw , she didn’t smile or apologise but non vberallt indicated for me to put it back on the grill! Then I told her that All the pieces were raw and she needs to sort it out, she said “no only this one”. I then told the maitre d who apologised and said she would tell head chef. I went back 15 mins later to collect chicken (I can’t eat the other meat options) and the raw chicken. Was still on the platter! I went back to maitre d and again she apologised. Layer th chef came around didn’t apologise but asked how was everything I said great apart from the attitude of thher grilled and her not clearing the raw chicken which is a health an safety breach and poor attitude, his response was friendly but casual With no apology “oh yes, I told her to leave it on for longer” I shut up at this point as nothing would get this lot to take it seriously 🤦‍♀️ and that is why I am exposing it here. The lack of action by kitchen staff dumbfounding and attitude when making a mistake troubling. The German couple next to us could be hear saying “ugh this chicken is raw” on actually eating it, a good 30 minutes after I reported it. This is NOT acceptable

This was a Very relaxing experience. Monica was a fantastic masseuse. She created a wonderful experience to de-stress and unwind from a long day . Very calming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend that you use her on your next visit to Melia Lloret de mar .

We stayed for 5 nights in September. We booked the level room and it was well worth the upgrade. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While we had booked level we were both happily surprised by the extra touches, such as the cava welcome, turndown service, the level lounge and the level area at pool. The pool was great, pool bar and level area were very handy. The sunbeds were comfortable and pool towels provided were very big and soft. We had b&b as like to explore local restaurants when travelling and were given some excellent recommendations. Both the lounge and buffet breakfasts were good. The hotel is very moden and clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. The ritual products in bathroom, and robes were lovely. We would very happily return to Melia hotel and thank you all for looking after us so well.
