Larkhill Tipis and Yurts

What an amazing experience we had as a family. Fran and family were amazing and very accommodating, ensuring that we were looked after. I would definitely recommend for families with children. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future!!!! Xx

Just returned from a weekend trip with the family and friends from larkhill. Every time we go we never want to leave, such an amazing, peaceful and magical place. The kids didn't stop asking when we could go back the entire car ride home. Can't wait to return. Thank you Fran and Tony for making it an amazing weekend.

Lovely stay just what the doctor ordered

Great 2 nights with kids The place was really nice, we stayed at the top yurt with an amazing view. Hot showers and a flushing toilet near by as well. The kids had a great time with chickens walking around the the trails on the ground. Not an issue, but just confirm if you need to take bedding, we got two messages that first thought it was included then the seconds looked like it wasnt. It was, we brought duvets and pillows we didnt need though, our fault, just be aware.

We stayed for a weekend at Larkhill in the Mongolian Ger on a rainy weekend at the beginning of September and enjoyed every second of it! Fran and family have created a truly magical place for people to relax and enjoy the woodland around them. If you are passionate about eco friendly living you will love Larkhill. Their renewable energy projects, recycling and woodland management are inspiring. The Mongolian Ger was a special experience in itself. The wood burner quickly warms up creating a lovely cosy feel and at night it was lovely looking up through the clear window in the top of yurt at the stars. We didn't get to cook on the open fire outside due to the weather, but had no problems making a meal on the gas stove inside the yurt, plus there was the added option of the well equipped kitchen in the cabin if we'd needed it. Our favourite part of our stay was exploring al the hidden paths, sculptures and surprises throughout the woodland. Our daughters aged 8 and 10 were in their element creating their own mini adventures and discovering new places the whole weekend. Words cannot describe how wonderful this place is! We had the 6 man yurt it was amazing! Stunning views, camp fire was lovely. The facilities are brilliant, clean hot showers, communal area was great, lots to explore & see we all loved the fairy garden! We’ve booked to come back next year!👍
