The Lake Country House & Spa is the Best Hotel we have ever stayed at. The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Home from home. ♥️ My daughter really needed a break. We greatly enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi with stunning views of the lake. The massage was devine, the best we have ever had. Warm oil, and very relaxing. Our bedroom suite was beyond perfect. We were right by the door which was handy for our doggy. Melody's Dad played the piano when he dropped us off, which we greatly enjoyed. The walks by the lake and river were exceptional. We could not have wished for anything more. We could not believe this stunning hotel is diggy friendly. The room and hotel reminded us of Jane Austen. We will be back.

On our fourth visit to this beautiful country house hotel with bonus of the glorious welsh spring sunshine. The hotel and the adjacent Lodge block of suites are very comfortable and exactly you would expect at a top hotel. The food and service offered by the friendly, courteous, and welcoming staff is absolutely exemplary. The spa facilities are top notch with every facility you could desire. My wife enjoyed a couple of treatments which she was very pleased with. The grounds were at their very best during our stay. I made the effort to undertake the 3/4 hour circular walk around the lake and along the riverside that was an absolute delight finally discovered on this visit. We can’t wait for our next visit in October.

Absolutely Fantastic. Not our first stay. The feeling you get as you enter the hotel stays with you throughout your visit. Staff are the hotels biggest asset. From an initial phone call relating to booking staff were first class in every way. The service in the main restaurant and breakfast room was first class as was the food . Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile and a very professional manner. It was excellent in every way. So looking forward to our next visit

Spent a delightful day here on a spa day. The location of the hotel and spa is nestled in glorious mid Wales. I didn't go inside the hotel but the spa is located at the edge of the lake with the hot tub overlooking it. Excellent pool, sauna and steam room. Spotlessly clean in all areas. The treatments I received were absolutely superb. The staff friendly and professional. A gorgeous day and the weather was fabulous. I hope to return. Thankyou.

Wanted a night away with a bit of luxury to unwind and relax, and the stay didn't disappoint. The room was beautiful with everything you needed. The spa facilities were quiet and had it all to ourselves, so made the most of the steam room and sauna. And plenty swimming in the good size pool. The evening meal was delicious and the staff all super friendly and attentive. Breakfast was also delicious, and it was lovely to have breakfast brought to your table. Tea and toast brought also..only buffet was cereals and juice which was a lovely change!! The grounds were beautiful to walk round. Would definitely go back as I felt completely pampered and relaxed

Had an amazing night stay as a Birthday treat, we had a warm welcome, friendly staff, who were very accommodating. Hotel was in a beautiful idyllic location, with walks on the doorstep which our beagle loved, very comfortable spacious room, food out of this world, we can’t wait to come back

Afternoon tea - Spent a relaxing enjoyable couple of hours sharing afternoon tea with three friends, served by friendly staff in lounge warned by real fire. Came away wishing we had started arrived earlier and left later. Sandwiches, savouries, scones/jam/clotted cream, cakes and tea. One of our party cheekily suggested that they were disappointed that there were no cucumber sandwiches... the waiter called his bluff and returned soon afterwards with freshly made cucumber 'finger' - excellent!

Beautiful characterful property with warming log burners. The ambience created by Pierre and the team is fabulous. The service from Adam and Becca was just right. The new spa and swimming areas are quiet and relaxing and the walk around the lake gives one time to drift away in your own thoughts.

We absolutely LOVE this place! For years we tried to find a decent place for a couple of days away that was relaxing, with great rooms/food/facilities and a few years ago we landed at The Lake. We haven't looked back and we are not the only return visitors. It is glorious! The staff absolutely make the place shine even more - special shout out to them, as they always deliver. Thank you for another wonderful couple of days away!
