Hotel Cymyran

Well, where do I start. The room was clean (ish) when i first arrived, although the carpets showed their age, worn and stained, marks on the mix and match bedroom furniture. Rooms definitely need updating, The highlight of the place is the owner (Prydwen) and her right hand woman\cleaner. They are abrupt and extremely arrogant. As a homeless person, they refer to you as scum and definitely get sub human treatment. I agree that sometimes there are or have been people there who are subject to substance abuse, but they generally get dealt with and evicted. The review about where Prydwen says she hates children and dogs is definitely true. She once referred to one of the homeless peoples child as 'it'. Prydwen also likes to take advantage of homeless people and try to get them doing jobs around the grounds, and make them feel obliged they have to do it to stay there. There are security who go to check on the welfare of the homeless, and Prydwen doesn't like them, so she does things to wind them up but asks the homeless to do her bidding and highlight it to security as she clearly won't do it herself. Once again taking advantage of vulnerable people. In a nutshell, i can verify all the bad reviews about the owner are definitely true, and if anything they are watered down as i have seen first hand how she treats and talks to people. The hotel itself is a has been. It looks almost abandoned when you get there. The cost you'll pay here there are places within 10 mins for a fraction of the price where you will be better off. Not sure if this will get a reply, but i won't be surprised as Prydwen always has something negative to say about everyone. Avoid this place like the plague
