Cottages at Little River Cove

Overall the stay is very comfortable. Full kitchen, heater, and outdoor jacuzzi are functioning well. Awesome ocean view from the cottage with provided binoculars is highly appreciated. Center garden is cute. Location of cottage is good and 5min driving to Mendocino downtown. The team contacted me through both email and phone in advance to explain the details of self-check in process, and it works very well to me. The cottage is Caspar for my stay, the shower leakage is observed, so the water pressure is low, but the issue is reported to the team.

We stayed at the cottages for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were lucky to have amazing weather so we could really enjoy the beautiful views from our doorstep. This place is such a gem. Close enough to downtown Mendocino with a short drive. The place was very clean, comfortable bed and had all the amenities we needed. We could not get over how perfect the view of the ocean was and the communal fire pit area was a perfect touch. We will definitely be returning!

In total it was a great experience for us. The cottage was so cozy with an awesome view. It was clean and well equipped. Also there was a grill in common area that we used and really liked it. They also provided a crib for our baby that was so helpful. For sure I will recommend it to my friends. Thank you

Our first visit was wonderful! A quick drive led us to Mendocino. We stayed in Jenner, where the scenery was stunning. It truly felt like an ideal escape. The accommodation was spacious, and having a kitchen proved to be very helpful. Just a heads-up: be cautious with the steep entry when driving into the cove; it could scratch the bottom of a low car.

The Jenner cottage was a good size for two people. It was very clean. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with comfy king bed, window seat and a deck. We enjoyed great views of the ocean and colorful sunset sky. The view is better outside near the fire pit. The bedroom has several skylights through which the full moon shined. Downstairs is the small kitchen, table & chairs, sofa, window seat, tv and gas fireplace. The fireplace is the main source of heat. An electric radiator heater is also provided. We enjoyed the complementary wine and coffee. The location is great; very close to Mendocino and several state parks. The Mendocino Botanical Gardens and Cabrillo Point lighthouse are a short drive to the north. It would have been perfect if the following had been provided: Pillows and throw blanket for the very uncomfortable sofa, More decorations (only one picture on wall), dish drainer rack (unfortunately there is no dishwasher), more bath towels (they quickly provided 2 more upon request), better signage (the name of the cabin is not visible from the driveway), stronger Wi-Fi.

The location is wonderful. We had a great view of the Pacific Ocean from our cottage. The property is very nice for dogs with a grassy area for them to explore. Our plan is to return in the fall for another visit. The cottages are close to the Van Damn State Park and beach and the town of Mendocino.
