Fairfield Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids North

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel and we absolutely love it. It is fairly new and will sometimes show up as LaQuinta in searches bc LaQuinta was formerly at this location. The hotel is sparkling clean and the staff is so pleasant. Location is awesome for easy access to everything. Book without hesitation!

Our travel baseball team was immediately drawn to this property as it was newly renovated with an appealing price point for a weekend tournament. The overall experience was very positive due to the kindness and professionalism of the General Manager who went above and beyond to ensure our experience and the experience of other families on our team was a positive one. Should baseball or another circumstance bring us back to the Cedar Rapids area, we will surely book again with this Fairfield property.

My husband and I were originally booked to stay at the Doubletree in downtown Cedar Rapids until our friend suggested we try the newly remodeled Fairfield Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids North. He had heard it was astonishingly nice. Of course, I also recognized the price point was much better so we thought, "Why not try it?" WOW! We were absolutely delighted from the moment we walked through the door. Staff was always smiling, friendly and helpful. The newly remodeled hotel is a delight to walk through. One would think you were staying in a higher star-rated establishment. Marriott held back nothing in their commitment to remodeling this hotel. Our room was so clean with nice amenities, including high-quality linens, pleasant toiletries, and electric blinds and curtains, even the Marriot logo pressure-embossed onto the bathroom tissue as a small but delightful example of attention to detail. We had a suite, which I would highly recommend. Breakfast was delightful. Such a wide variety of items from which to choose and the area was kept spotlessly clean and well-stocked by a friendly helpful gentleman. I cannot encourage anyone enough who happens to be visiting Cedar Rapids to make sure they book their stay at this hotel. Paying more does not always result in a better experience. We had one of our best hotel experiences while traveling throughout smaller U.S. cities and at an excellent nightly rate. You will not regret staying here. Great job, Marriott!
