We had such a great stay at this hotel! Right from the start, the place felt welcoming and spotless, with everything perfectly clean and well-maintained. It was clear they really care about making guests comfortable.
Our room was super spacious, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly—fast and reliable, which isn’t always the case in hotels! Considering how much the hotel offers, it’s incredible value for money.
It’s also a fantastic place if you’re traveling with kids or pets. Our little ones were so happy, and played with their resident puppy, which made the trip so much easier for us.
The service was top-notch — the host was so helpful and friendly. Offering us warmth at their fireplace, food, and even brought us to a local store to buy firecrackers for our kids to play with. She even offered to give us a guided tour of their locality.
We also loved how much the hotel embraced the local vibe. From the décor to the food, everything had a real connection to the area, which made the stay feel extra special and unique.
Overall, this hotel is a perfect mix of comfort, great service, and thoughtful touches. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Ambiente dell'hotel: si tratta di un B&B, inaugurato di recente nel 2024, con nuovi servizi, il letto grande è molto comodo e caldo, al mattino quando spunta il sole si possono effettivamente vedere le montagne dorate e il riscaldamento è sufficiente di notte. Sono disponibili spazzolini da denti usa e getta, pantofole, bagnoschiuma, shampoo e balsamo, oltre a camicie da notte, asciugamani e teli da bagno. Anche l'asciugacapelli è un nuovo modello di Xiaomi ed è molto potente. Il lavabo intelligente e lo specchio illuminato sono un grande plus per le donne haha.
Altro: Consiglio questa tipologia di camera matrimoniale, molto spaziosa. Rispetto ad altri hotel della stessa fascia di prezzo, la vista qui è la migliore. Al piano inferiore c'è anche un antico cortile dove è possibile sedersi e bere il tè. Quando al mattino si aprono le tende, si può vedere l'infinito bungalow bianco nel cortile e, in lontananza, le montagne innevate e quelle verdi. Il paesaggio è meraviglioso e trasmette un senso di relax e tranquillità. Ctrip è stata molto premurosa e mi ha ricordato il check-in e il check-out e altri accordi di viaggio, il che mi ha fatto sentire sollevato. Grazie Ctrip.

AAndrewsonManxiwan now holds a special place in my heart. This place deserves more than just five stars. As frequent travelers, we know how hard it is to find a place that truly offers a great stay, and Manxiwan exceeded all our expectations. Our standards for Airbnb stays have been raised once again, thanks to this experience.
The service is top-notch — the owners are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always making sure you’re well taken care of. The ambiance is amazing, and they’ve thoughtfully prepared everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.
A bonus: everything they provide is of high quality. I didn’t even need to use my own Dyson hairdryer because they already had one available. The bathrooms, showers, and bathtub are spotlessly clean and properly disinfected. They even installed a heater in the shower room, so you won’t freeze while bathing.
The amenities are impressive: there’s a Marshall speaker, a projector with an automatic white screen, and voice-controlled curtains — just say “你好，小乐，开/关窗帘” and the curtains will open or close without needing to find a switch.
The view outside the window is absolutely breathtaking — one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. Another plus: the place is so photogenic that you can take tons of amazing pictures without even stepping outside.
If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask — the hosts go above and beyond to help. They also offer car rental services at reasonable prices, making it easy to explore the area.
The food is delicious too — I especially loved the 米线 (rice noodles)! One evening when we returned late, they still welcomed us warmly, asked about our day, and even offered us some warm soup. Their kindness and hospitality truly stood out.
I highly, highly recommend this place — you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be coming back.

LLowJia JinOnce in a while, we have the rare privilege of staying somewhere that exemplifies all that is good about travel. Nguluko is one such place.
As the photos suggest, the hotel is beautifully designed. It’s a zen-like, modern annex, connected to Liusan’s generational home. What a curious privilege it is, to be able to join her family around the home’s traditional Naxi courtyard for a bonfire dance, before retreating upstairs to a room of luxurious comforts, including an actual Dyson hairdryer and electronic toilet.
But more important is what the photos cannot capture. In an age of faceless travel, dominated by flavourless hotel chains and mass-produced group tours, it’s rare to be able to feel a connection with folks eager to share a little slice of their life with you. Whether it be a morning stroll around the old village, a sharing session on Naxi culture and Dongba script, or even the aforementioned bonfire dance (replete with lived-in details like the family’s aging hams dangling off the awnings), it harkens back to a more serendipitous style of travel that made me smile.
Even meals (all-inclusive!) are a chance to experience local culture. Locally foraged bracken and morels make an appearance, as do different varieties of liangfen, and Lijiang-style baba. There’s also the most moreish chicken hotpot — which I was going to drive out of the way to Luguzhen to try — but which she ended up serving for dinner on the second night. I’m quite obsessive when it comes to food, and yet everything I wanted to try here, except perhaps the rainbow trout and yak, were cooked up and served.
Some small things could be improved: many stairways lack railings for the mobility impaired, and the ‘October’ room has an odd bathroom design where the toilet cubicle barely has space to close when one is seated. But such issues pale in comparison to the overall experience. Perhaps the biggest compliment I can give it is that in a world filled with a million wonderful destinations, this is one place I would choose to return to.

Da quando siamo arrivati, siamo stati accolti con attenzione e caldo, e la proprietà stessa è assolutamente stupenda, nebbiata in natura, con montagne coperte di neve visibili proprio dalla nostra stanza. Il tranquillo ambiente, insieme alle attrazioni di alto livello, ha reso la nostra permanenza sia lussuosa che pacifica.
Ma ciò che ha reso questo soggiorno inspiegabile è stato Lily e Star, sono il cuore e l’anima della nostra esperienza! Lily si sentiva come una sorella e un amico perduti, così gentile, gentile e attenta, così dolce. Sia Liky & Star che Liky & Star andavano sopra e oltre, aiutandoci con tutto quello che avevamo bisogno. Se ci aiutava tardi di notte con un proiettore che non potevamo scoprire, o organizzando un pick-up e un calo in una città antica vicina, niente era mai troppo per loro.
Non sono solo le grandi cose, ci sorpresero costantemente con i gesti pensativi che mostravano quanto loro amavano. La loro gentilezza e le belle anime di tutta la squadra ci lasciavano un'impressione duratura.

UUtente ospiteHo avuto il piacere di rimanere a Logee Inn, ed è stata una esperienza inoltrabile. Inizialmente, l'hotel ha scelto per la sua vicinanza a una cucina privata/un pranzo fisso, superando le mie aspettative.

Lo Logee Inn è perfettamente situato proprio nelle periferie di Baisha, a 10 minuti a piedi o il bellissimo manager ci ha lasciati e ci ha raccolti.
Alloggio:
Le camere sono belle con grandi finestre e vista diretta sulla montagna Yulong Snow. Ci ha colpito piacevolmente di essere aggiornate in una camera di alta qualità, con una grande terrazza. La vista delle montagne dalle grandi finestre era sorprendente, aggiungendo al fascino generale del nostro soggiorno. Questa stanza comprendeva anche il caffè barista illimitato, che è stato un piacevole trattamento!
Servizio:
Il servizio era impeccabile. Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole e utile, sempre pronto a aiutare con raccomandazioni o qualsiasi necessità. Il manager dell'hotel ha anche offerto di lasciarci e di prendere noi dalla vecchia città di Baisha.
Esperienza serale:
Uno dei punti di vista è l'atmosfera serale, che ha accennato un incendio nel giardino posteriore, creando uno spazio accogliente per rilassarsi.

Llittle-cloudWe stayed at Stone Hotel 石头厝 for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! I am so glad we discovered it after searching on Trip.com for quite a while. We were looking for a hotel in Lijiang that is quiet and peaceful, with views of Yulong Snow Mountain, and has the modern comforts of a luxurious boutique hotel.
The hotel is located outside of Lijiang town, approximately 30-40min drive, and right next to Yuhu Village. If we needed to go anywhere, the hotel provides a car drop-off service in a luxurious MPV. It’s also easy to call a car on DiDi.
The room is beautifully designed with elements of copper and wood, blending modern and traditional. The bed and pillows are among the most comfortable I’ve slept in during my travels. Being a city girl, I’m delighted with the Dyson hairdryer, Marshall speaker, and Aesop hand soap! The free mini fridge is stocked with beer, Perrier sparkling water, soft drinks, and if not enough, just pop over to the restaurant where the fridge and fruit bar is open and free all day! The amazing variety of fruits are the sweetest I’ve tasted, all grown locally. Even the nuts are sweet, I think they roast them in some sweet milk. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes but we had hotpot every dinner just because the soup is so delicious and the meats so tender. At dinner, the Naxi brothers will drink a toast and sing for every guest as their way of welcoming the guests and treating them as friends. If you dare to, try their local herbal/fruit alcohol (very strong!) We also love that for breakfast, they serve a selection of local side dishes which we enjoyed trying.
Their concierge/front desk team welcomed us warmly even before arriving (via WeChat), and supported us very well throughout our stay. The whole experience of coordinating airport pickup and booking their various activities and amenities (afternoon tea, evening drink, dinner, car) was seamless and fast. Before going out, the front desk staff always makes sure that we are well equipped for the day with water, umbrella, oxygen, chocolates. All the staff are always happy and friendly, making us feel like we are friends because the service is so personalized. We chatted with many of them and had the chance to learn a little about each of them, their lives and their culture. They know that we love playing with their dogs and the little lamb DuoDuo, and gave us many chances to play with them and even feed little DuoDuo. One can feel that they love their work there.
After leaving, we are still missing little DuoDuo, the amazing staff and warm hospitality, and the comfortable room. I’ve traveled to many places, and this is one of the rare times where I miss the place and the people so much. We highly recommend Stone Hotel 石头厝 to anyone visiting Lijiang! And I hope we have to chance to come back and stay with them again.

Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.

UUtente ospiteIl B&B si trova poco fuori dalla città antica di Baisha. Il parcheggio è gratuito. La governante organizzerà un'auto per venirvi a prendere al vostro arrivo, così non dovrete preoccuparvi di trascinare i bagagli a piedi. Il B&B ha migliorato la mia camera. La camera è ampia, ben attrezzata, confortevole e pulita. Ogni giorno mi viene fornita della frutta e, se ho bisogno di un caffè, basta dirlo alla governante. È perfetto per un amante del caffè come me. Quando in futuro verrò a Lijiang darò priorità a questo posto.

TTimeforgreatnessBella opzione di bilancio sul bordo del centro della città. La posizione in una strada laterale rende per una notte molto tranquilla. La stanza era spaziosa e molto pulita. Il sedile riscaldato e il riscaldamento in bagno erano molto evidenti. I letti erano super comodi. E il design tradizionale, soprattutto del giardino, è bellissimo.
Quello che pensavamo poteva essere migliorato: la nostra stanza nel pavimento era un po' buia, le finestre non potevano essere aperte e la mattina c'erano persone che spostavano le casse di carte da un posto all'altro proprio davanti alla nostra finestra, quindi la privacy si sentiva un po' limitata. Nonostante la CCTV, un vero e proprio locale di magazzinaggio chiuso sarebbe stato molto apprezzato il giorno del check-out, in modo che i bagagli non sarebbero stati in posizione in sala aperta di fronte mentre le porte sono aperte e nessuno è lì per guardare il bagaglio.
In generale, abbiamo avuto un bel tempo a Lijiang. Le montagne Jade con i loro laghi blu lunari sono spettacolari.
