A Hidden Gem in Lijiang – Perfect for Families with Young Kids We stayed here as a family of four with two toddlers (aged 3 and 4), and while I was initially a little anxious after learning that the hotel didn’t have a lift — especially since we had quite a few luggages and our room was on the highest floor — the experience turned out to be nothing short of amazing. There were about four steep flights of stairs to climb, but the hotel staff immediately came to our aid. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, carrying all of our luggage up without hesitation. All I had to manage were my kids, which was a huge relief. Once we got to the room, we were blown away by the view — a stunning panorama of Lijiang that made the climb entirely worth it. The room itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. Our children had plenty of space to play, and we loved just relaxing and soaking in the beautiful surroundings. There was even a lovely bathtub, though we didn’t get a chance to use it due to our packed itinerary. Still, it was a great touch that made the room feel extra special. On the day of our early morning checkout (6am), the staff once again impressed us with their attentiveness and hospitality — helping us with our luggage down those stairs with the same warmth and energy. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was kind and accommodating. It truly felt like a hidden gem — peaceful, scenic, and family-friendly. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lijiang, especially families with young children.

Have nice experience here. Very close to ancient city. Many Halal restaurant nearby. The owner so kind & try tp fulfilled my request. She has a very cute cat to be pet for free! 😆

The room is spacious and clean. We like the design and flowers outside of the room. There are a few halal restaurants nearby (walking distance). A good value for money.

We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel at first since there was no sign in Latin alphabet, but luckily a local helped us call the owner. The room was spacious enough for four people and had decent facilities. The hotel itself is cute and aesthetic, with a cozy outdoor seating area. There’s even a washing machine available. It's located very close to the Old Town, with some halal food spots and coffee shops nearby. However, the bathroom door in our room couldn’t close properly and had to be propped shut. Also, there are quite a few stairs, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have a lot of luggage—though the owner is usually quick to help. Our room wasn’t cleaned during the stay, except for a towel change.
