Jimmy and all the staff have been excellent. Location has an amazing view and would have been excellent apart from some minor noises during the night.

This is a spectacular hotel in a relatively central location, with amazing views. Due to its location though, there can be a lot of late music, less ideal if you're an early and light sleeper. Amber & her colleagues were all super helpful and friendly, and made our stay all that much nicer.

Room was big & clean. Location is very convenient inside Lijiang ancient town. Very impressed by the services provided by the hotel service staff. Will choose this hotel again when come to Lijiang

Staff 佳佳 was very friendly and approachable and helped us to carry our luggage up to hotel when checking in. she even wake up early to help us to bring our luggage when we told her we are checking out at 7am. Overall the hotel is situated on top of 狮子山 and have great scenery, room is super clean and spacious. It is also near 酒吧街 but is not noisy at all from where the hotel is located. We had good night sleep throughout the 3 day stay there. Super recommended to stay here.

We had a great experience staying at Lijiang Zen Garden Hotel 麗江文晉院客棧 during our recent visit to Lijiang old town. This heritage style hotel is located on the hillside with an excellent commanding view of the Lijiang old town. Our room was like a mirador giving us most amazing bird’s eye view in morning, during the day or in evening of the whole old town. The property, converted from three heritage houses, has been exquisitely preserved and tastefully renovated. Most importantly, the entire staff, lead by Ms. Duan (段思佳 ), was extremely warm, attentive and helpful making our entire stay most enjoyable.  We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lijiang.

This is excellent chinese traditional hotel for people who want to see the top of view of Lijiang old town. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are high quality. The hotel is located a little bit on the mountain closed to large water wheel the landmark of Lijiang oldtown. The breakfast we had was special noodle yunnan food which was different than normal buffet we had in other hotel. Mostly of hotel staff can speak english well and warmly welcome especially from Mr.Jimmy. I’m very impressed that the hotel helped us took our luggage up to the hotel when we had a Jade Dragon Snow one day tour and sent us to railway station after checking out. I will be returning guest in the future for sure. Thanks for the experience and make me feel like I’m in the chinese movie who feel and touch the environment in the past.
