We booked a jet pool villa for 3 nights. The villa itself was awesome. It was spacious and comfortable. Our butler, Hellen, was very helpful. She’s always checking in with us to make sure our stay was comfortable and helped us with all our requests. Breakfast buffet had a great spread. The hotel location is great. It’s located within walking distance to Shuhe Ancient Town

Butler Alice was so kind and friendly—really went above and beyond for us! She proactively helped us switch rooms because of renovation noise (超级贴心!). The whole team was quick to respond to every request, whether it was ******* deliveries or bathroom needs. Breakfast was delicious! Every corner of the hotel is great, view from our hotel room is stunning. Location to Gu Cheng is a 20mins ride via didi. There’s free photo shooting by 3rd party in the hotel. The experience was ok.  Would stay here again. Thanks for making our trip so smooth!

Honestly the view and atmosphere you get at Banyan Lijiang is stunning! View of Yulong Mountains from both the main lobby area and room! You get your individual butler and Hellen was very responsive and check in daily on what additional assistance we required. She try her best to meet our expectations and is very friendly! Only downside facilities may be starting to get a little run down given the age of the resort, could further improve!

Great place to stay in Lijiang. It is located in Shuhe area which I very much prefer than Lijiang old town.it is of walkable distance to Shuhe old town. We got lucky and got upgraded to get to see the Mountain View of 玉龙雪山 for our three nights there. We also joined their tour package to visit 玉龙雪山 and had a great time. Part of the reason of wanting to stay at Banyan Tree is cause I want to support a home grown brand and staying there made me felt that I made a right choice to do so. The hotel has other activities during the day and it's fun to join in e.g the Naxi prayers and traditional costumes photography. The hotel grounds is full of flowers and trees too.
