1）Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended!
This hotel exceeded all my expectations! The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, especially Emna was so nice . The location is perfect, with easy access to major attractions and dining options. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, and the amenities (like the gym and spa) were top-notch. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Hyatt Purelax is a well-maintained opulent retreat for you and your family in LiJiang. There is a huge variety of activities as well as facilities. There is a Gym, a Swimming pool, two restraunts, a spa and many more. There is a huge hotel lake where you can go fishing and boating. Here, you can take the best gorgeous photos for your social media or simply just for memories sake. There are also many mesmerising black swans and koi fishes which roams the entire lake. We had a really fun time boating as we could see the fishes underneath us as the kayak boats were made out of clear plastic- Very cool experience. The staff there is very helpful and will always assist you when in need. Daisy is one staff member there that was particularly polite and very accommodating. She was very hardworking and always entertained our requests. She always brought a smile and had outstanding attitude. We are grateful towards her and commend her for her good service. Along with Daisy, the other members off the staff such as the front desk and concierge also gave us good service. Now let’s talk about the breakfast buffet, the food was scrumptious and had a huge variety- such an excellent spread. The rooms were extremely spacious and provided us with more than sufficient amenities. Also aside from the activities on the lake, there is also Animal patting. Here you can pet Alpacas and ponies. There are also donkeys and a wild hog for you to see.
In summary, we really enjoyed our stay. It was welcoming and satisfactory. If we come back to Li Jiang, we will definitely come back and stay. This hotel is a huge recommendation!

We had a lovely stay at Jinmao Purelax Lijiang, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. We were there during early June. The view from the room was amazing. It was wonderful to wake up to the Yu Long Snow Mountain every morning with a cool breeze.
Breakfast was a good spread of traditional Chinese fare and international staples. We look forward to having good breakfasts every morning. The staff even packed for us breakfast when we departed earlier than the breakfast time for our day tour of Yu Long Snow Mountain.
While overall, it was a good experience, there were some quirks, that we felt were slightly below our expectations befitting a Hyatt branded hotel. There wasn’t a proper mini fridge. We had to request for one. And it was not functioning properly - we eventually had to ask the staff to keep our medical items with their staff who delivered to our doorstep upon request, promptly.
The air-conditioning was also controlled centrally and we could not adjust the temperature despite having a controller in our room. We were advised by the staff to keep the netted balcony doors open to let the fresh air in. But it was not possible when we sleep due to the bright light and the room was warm.
The other freebies made up for the overall experience at Jinmao. We had a wonderful complimentary photoshoot at Bo Jue Travel Photography studio which was conveniently located within the hotel’s premises. The staff there were friendly, professional and made the photo shoot fun and enjoyable. We upgraded the package as the photographers and DI artists made fantastic work in
double quick time.
We also had a complimentary Pu’ Er Tea tasting session where we were greeted by a warm and attentive lady, Ah Qing. She was a great conversationalist and we enjoyed her company.
We also checked out other features like the petting zoo, indoor swimming pool and the sauna. There are also many family friendly activities to participate in - there are plenty of opportunities to play within the premises!
Jinmao Purelax Lijiang may not be the shiniest and newest hotel but this grand dame is a wonderful place for folks of all ages to play, relax and soak in the sights of what Lijiang has to offer.

I’m so glad that we chose this hotel for our honeymoon. The receptionist upgraded our room to have mountain view which was amazing. The hotel is really beautiful and well maintained.
