Hotel in zona Lande de Streupas, Liegi

Una piccola permanenza nella mia città natale e una splendida scoperta di questo piccolo hotel di nove camere in un edificio del XVIII secolo vale la pena di andare, un luogo simpatico e atipico per chi ama i vecchi edifici, velle pietre e edifici di un altro tempo, questo è un posto fatto per voi. Con tutto il comfort per un piacevole soggiorno. Raccomando per le persone nostalgiche che vogliono vivere un'esperienza diversa dai grandi hotel. Grazie all'onorevole Benoît per l'accoglienza, la gentilezza e la disponibilità che ha dimostrato. Le auguro il meglio per il prossimo. Molto cordiale. Philippe.

Hotel di bellezza, ambiente buono, c'è un piccolo giardino, e la colazione è deliziosa

Hotel eccellente in centro a Liegi, a pochi passi al Teatro dell'Opéra Royal de Wallonie e alla zona dei ristoranti e negozi. Camera molto ampia, letto comodo, bagno grande e funzionale con prodotti omaggio. La nostra camera al 4° piano era molto silenziosa. Colazione fantastica, sia per qualità che per varietà. Non abbiamo usufruito degli altri servizi, ma ha una bellissima piscina aperta anche a chi non è ospite dell'hotel, così come il ristorante.

We stayed one night at Radisson Liege. The hotel looks fairly new. Our room although small, was very clean, soundproof and well decorated. The bed and air con were good. The view out the back was not so good. Breakfast was very good. There is a parking under the hotel, but it is owned and operated by a neighboring hotel, so this parking is not accessible. We were directed to use the underground parking at the iLot shopping center 450 meters distance from the hotel (see map I attached) This proved to be quite a chore as we had quite a bit of luggage to drag through the streets and the iLot shopping center parking entrances can be challenging to locate. When checking out on Sunday, the parking entrance we used on Saturday was closed, so I spent a lot of time trying to find how to access the parking. The Radisson hotel provides a discount coupon for parking. When I inserted my parking ticket into the machine, the machine failed and kept my ticket. It took about 45 minutes of calling the hotel and the hotel calling parking management to allow me to exit my rental car from the parking. I can't imagine how this parking arrangement will work in really bad weather like heavy rain or a snowstorm. When I finally got my rental car out of the garage, I had to return to the hotel to retrieve my luggage. 1.5 hours to properly checkout mainly because of this poor parking situation.

Voyage de 2 jours dans les Ardennes avec logement dans cet hôtel grâce à une formule Vivabox (une nuit, petit dej et accès espace welness). Chambre de type confort. Franchement, au niveau de l'infrastructure : tout est très bien. L'hôtel est contemporain de style moderne façon Ikea (dans les chambres), propre, très bien pensé d'un point de vue fonctionnel, avec ascenseurs. Tout le confort est présent dans la chambre qui est spacieuse, surtout la salle de bain. On y trouve grande TV, téléphone, coffre-fort, machine nespresso, grand lit king size confortable. Mobilier additionnel spartiate, il manque quand même un vrai fauteuil. Reproche plus insistant en revanche à propos du manque d’un mini frigo. Là c'est assez problématique surtout en été pour avoir sous la main des boissons fraiches. L'espace Welness est modeste mais l'essentiel s'y trouve : une piscine, un hamman, un sauna et un jacuzzi. C'est de bonne taille pour un hôtel de cette superficie. On était hors saison, donc pas trop de monde et c’était très plaisant. Mais en pleine saison, cela pourrait être encombré. Encore un mot au niveau du personnel : ils sont très bien aussi : disponibles, serviables et aimables. Si je m’arrête ici, c’est une très bonne note. Maintenant j'en vient à mon problème pendant ce séjour. Je rappelle que j'ai été mi-septembre en semaine, donc à une période sensée être calme. Et pourtant j'ai souffert du bruit pendant la nuit. Explications. D’abord, j’ai souffert en première partie de nuit de bruit de casseroles incessants. Vraiment : impossible de fermer l’œil. L’explication est que ma chambre était au-dessus des cuisines. Et ils ont fait la plonge ou une activité qui y ressemble jusqu’au-delà de minuit. Logiquement, au-dessus d’une cuisine on y place des bureaux ou salles de réunion. Ensuite, il faut savoir que l'hôtel accueille des groupes de travail (sociétés) dans des espaces qui leurs sont réservés. Ils y passent aussi la nuit après une soirée sans doute arrosée. Du coup, à la fin de leurs réunions et repas, à des heures tardives (entre minuit et 2h du matin) : bruit dans les couloirs (rires et fortes discussions) et douches au milieu de la nuit. Franchement, je pensais que la personne de la chambre d'à côté prenait sa douche dans ma salle de bain. Je comptais me lever tôt pour partir en randonnée et jusque-là j’ai dormi 3 ou 4 heures. Mais c’est sans compter le camion poubelle juste en face de ma chambre qui, à 6h30, a eu définitivement raison de ma nuit. Je peux concevoir que ce sont des choses qui peuvent arriver dans tous les hôtels. Mais je peux aussi reprocher un réel problème structurel au niveau de l’isolation acoustique : entendre si fort tous les bruits, ce n’est pas normal. Et puis, pourquoi me placer au-dessus des cuisines un mois de septembre ? L’hôtel ne semblait pas rempli du tout à cette période.

Per il prezzo che ho pagato per la mia stanza, mi aspettavo un altro LOT. Viaggio molto e molto spesso in Europa e negli Stati Uniti e questo hotel è uno dei peggiori prezzi per gli hotel di denaro che ho avuto la sfortuna di vivere - si sta prezzi PREMIUM per il buio, sorprese camere dove ho dovuto salire per andare a letto. Il letto era su una mezzanina dove dovevo fermarmi per evitare di mettere la testa sul tetto, perché sono un uomo alto e le scale di legno polverizzate mi hanno fatto sentire molto ansioso di lasciarli scendere, soprattutto nel mezzo della notte. Le tazze di caffè sono state danneggiate (chipped) e avete l'AUDACITY per offrire carta da bagno riciclata a basso costo in un distributore che ho visto solo negli hotel BUDGET più economici!!! Non nemmeno un roll di carta da bagno!! E si preleva €184 per notte per questo?? È VERO VERO VERO. Non sono felice di pagare un prezzo così alto per un soggiorno di notte . Dovresti prelevare la metà del prezzo della stanza. Purtroppo non ho avuto il tempo di chiedere una stanza migliore o un rimborso, perché ho avuto un impegno serale a Verviers, ma non resterò più nel vostro hotel. Mentre la donna sul check-out era scusata e mi ha offerto i dettagli di contatto per il vostro team di cura dei clienti per un futuro soggiorno in uno dei vostri hotel nella regione, Non accadrà, perché sarà almeno un anno prima di tornare a Verviers/Spa e avrei preferito un rimborso parziale invece. Non mi consiglierei sicuramente il vostro hotel sulla base di questa esperienza. Un rimborso di almeno 1/3 del prezzo del mio soggiorno sarebbe utile, ma sospetto che non accadrà.

This is the first time we have stayed in a property in this price range that was badly antiquated, poorly run, and lacked any modern management that we wanted to escape almost directly after checking in. We should have been more conscious honestly after reading the TA reviews as the management apparently only responds to positive reviews but never to negative ones....a clear sign there is a lack of any accountability or leadership in a property honestly. Beyond the poor communications in advance of our stay we have to say that the rooms have not been refurbished since the 1970s at best and were stuffy, dark, and kind of sad honestly to the point where we worried about sticking to something. While some of the junior staff were friendly enough, the communication with management was poor and when we asked how we could best accomodate the needs of our children, we were simply told that one could sleep in our bed and they could set up a crib for the other child....at a rental cost of 15 euro a day!!!!! In my decades of traveling I have not ever found a single 4 star property that charged a daily rate on using a baby crib in a room and in general this left us the rather pressing feeling that families are not welcome here! Otherwise, if you are taking a train to Maastricht it is an ideal location as the hotel is located almost directly next to the train station and the noise is not so bad at night. In general though, this property felt like an obsolete dinosaur with no central leadership or accountability to its guests. The sad fact though is that with one of the Netherland's best hospitality schools based within the city limits, this poor service could easily be remedied we argued with some fresh blood and investment, but instead it looks like the owners just want to rest on the Amrath's accolades (and its presumed '4 stars') from yesteryear. A true pity and waste of money these days especially in such a hospitable city as Maasstricht where the Crowne Plaza nearby is clean, well run, and equally convenient.
