This is a world class hotel in a small historic town in southwest Virginia. It is par with the finest boutique hotels in New York and Palm Beach. The decorating, decor and amenities are first class and the staff is professional. Each room is unique. The restaurant (Haywoods) and bar (Taps) offer great food. I would highly recommend this hotel as a destination.

This hotel is one of my all time favorite hotels! It is gorgeous and the service is absolutely spectacular. I went to the front desk to ask for a sewing kit. Kathy went above and beyond to help me. She personally sewed the clasp back on my dress for me and steamed the dress! Thank you for always making our stay so wonderful!

It’s always a treat to stay at the Georges when we visit Lexington. The setting is beautiful, the room decor is lovely, the location is as perfect as can be in Lexington and John and the team welcome all of their guests with a warm professionalism. With particular gratitude on this trip for Zubin and Kathy for their attentiveness to our reservation.

The hotel is five stars. I stayed here 3 times now and had all different rooms. All rooms were amazing and very spacious. Attention to detail is key here. The GM John welcomed my family as we were coming home. Haywood’s and Taps are 2 fantastic dining options. Definatly coming back and referring to all our friends. Jan

We loved our stay! The front desk and employees at TAPS were all so helpful, friendly and accommodating. The experience is so different from a hotel, and the rooms are so quaint, clean and comfortable. We loved our breakfast at TAPS each morning.

Amazing as always beautifully curated rooms every detail over the top! Great staff and service! Good food and drinks!!! Hidden gem in Lexington!!! Great weekend get away. We stay about 4 times a year never disappoints. Love the constant additions

The Georges could not be more luxurious and comfortable. They have the best service and took immaculate care of us, paying close attention to every detail! We loved dining and getting drinks at TAPS restaurant. Thank you to The Georges Team!

We absolutely loved our stay at The George's Hotel. We have now stayed in three of the buildings and have loved them all equally. The decor is uniquely classic and a perfect reflection of the historic town of Lexington. The rooms are also very clean and have all the amenities that one could possibly need. Despite being in restored historic buildings the bathrooms are fully remodeled and exceptional. They even include heated towel racks! The resturaunt Tapps in the hotel is excellent! The staff is exceptionally helpful!

The service at The Georges was fantastic and the rooms are excellent (the oversized beds are quite the luxurious touch). Everything was immaculate and in excellent condition. Taps is a super bar. We used the meeting space in the Patton Room, and it exceeded expectations. If you stay in Lexington for any reason, The Georges is the place to stay.
