Unit 212 - Island place. Very nice condo. Very clean and nicely stocked and decorated. However……. They rental agency (Pelican Realty) failed to mention the huge bridge replacement project literally right next to the unit’s balcony. Not a minor inconvenience. This is a 7:30 AM diesel engine, giant crane front end loader, cement saw, beeping dump truck nightmare that went on the entire day. The noise was loud enough that we couldn’t even sit on balcony. It ruined our visit. At least they did give us a discount when we complained. They were “surprised” that it was an issue. Really?? Do not rent this unit until the bridge us complete and the temporary bridge has been removed.

Cedar Key is unique. Don't look for beaches. But look there are plenty of great views, good fishing, and nature trails. Island Place was a clean, decent place to stay. we had a balcony looking out over the water. The booking agent was very helpful.

Located on the bay looking towards the city pier. Comfortable rooms with a tv on the living room and bedroom. A deck/balcony with each room to enjoy sitting outside and some have a porch swing. Kitchenette has a full size fridge, a small stove and a bar with two chairs. Queen size bed and closet, dining table and clean. Reasonable prices and within walking distance of the restaurants, marina and shops.
