In 1961, it became the first Swiss ski resort in the Portes du Soleil area, which now offers about 600 km of ski slopes in Switzerland and France, along with mountain biking trails, bike parks, and electric mountain biking routes. In 2025, Morgins hosted again the ISMF World Championships in Ski Mountaineering. In summer, panoramic and educational trails lead to sites such as Lac de Chésery and Lac Vert.
