Madame Vacances Hôtel Ibiza

We had an lovely stay at the Hotel Ibizia in March 2024. All the staff were very welcoming and professional. Deserving a particular mention were the head chef who served his food with real joy - particularly the fish, Frankie on reception who set the welcoming tone for the hotel, as did Juliett and Cormac in the bar/restaurant. The hotel Taxi driver and service was great - in the morning the taxi was usually ready & waiting to take us to the lift station. The food was buffet style but of excellent quality and plentiful. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We made use of the swimming pool, sauna, table tennis and pool table during our stay. The pool is a little dated, but great after a day on the slopes. I would choose to go back to this hotel.

We found the service to be exemplary, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were very welcoming. our room was clean and well supplied, but hot chocolate as well as Tea and Coffee would be welcomed by our younger travellers! We were especially grateful for some breakfast bits being made available despite our transfer being well before breakfast opening time!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Ibiza. We got the suite and it was really worth it to have the double windows and balcony overlooking the mountains, although the normal rooms also looked nice. We thought the food was surprisingly excellent and so much choice for breakfast including fresh avocado and fruit, a full cooked English breakfast, etc. We also ended up eating dinner here once and again were surprisingly impressed with the quality of the food, felt above 3 stars worth. We also really liked the candlelit ambience of the whole hotel and how they don’t have many overhead lights on, we thought it added to the coziness. On that note, we saw a few reviews complaining about the decor but we really appreciated this hotel being unique and cozy with all the red and dim lighting and music posters everywhere and Christmassy lights and wood, it felt super cozy and Alpine-y. I’d choose that over another modern soulless business-feeling hotel any day, even if it is a little ‘weird’! Staff were super lovely too and the ski shop being downstairs in the hotel was so useful, the man in there was kind and helped me change my ski boots when the first pair were painful. We also enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi one night, although the pool feels a bit tired and a little colder than I’d like (but is heated). Only other complaint which felt like a one-off was that they tried to charge drinks to our room which weren’t ours, but think that was a simple miscommunication & they apologised

Not the best experience. I understand that this is a 3star hotel So I don’t expect miracles. But basic hygiene, pillows not covered in stains and a shower that you can actually have a shower and not have to hold the shower head with one hand because theres nowhere to hook while trying to not soak the floor because theres no shower screen cant be too much to Ask. Asked to move rooms and was told no. Spent all afternoon trying to get hotel To rectify problems. Just got told they are very busy

We’ve just returned from Madame vacances ibiza and I would highly recommend the duplex mountain view room. The view is fabulous. The shuttle service to main lifts was seamless and very flexible. All of the staff at the hotel from the manager, to restaurant/ bar staff and cleaning team were all incredible. So hospitable. My son has serious nut allergies and the staff went above and beyond to cater for this and label everything clearly which put us at ease. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the food was fabulous! My only negative experience was the grumpy ski equipment hire man! Not at all helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and the all inclusive option!

Overall our trip was fantastic. The hotel Ibiza is a great place to stay as it’s in a great location close to slops, bars, the town, and the beds are comfy! The downside however is that the hotel is in need of a little tlc. In the communal areas we saw broken light shades and curtains hanging off the pelmets. The spa is rather tied with moldy window sills and tatty sofas, it wasn’t inviting to us which was a shame. The overall hotel decor is odd with barbies and ken dolls scattered about and records and popstar posters around every corner. I have been told that this is typical of French decor and although we found it strange it was a funny talking point. Our bedroom was also in need of a little makeover, the bath had a crack in it and the room decor was dated. The breakfast was lovely and the view outstanding. Les Deux Alpes is amazing and this hotel is more than suitable for a holiday here, even with its quirks.

Just finished our last night at this hotel and all the family are sad to go. It’s our 7th time in this resort and the 2nd time in this hotel. We absolutely love this place! It’s got a great location. Not too far to walk to slopes and there is a shuttle service all day for those who need it. We stayed in room 408 which is duplex suite with 2 bathrooms and an amazing double floor view on the mountains. We stayed on all inclusive basis as the quality of the food and drink is so so good. Fantastic service from the moment we met Frankie at reception and all the lovely restaurant and bar service, in particular Fancoise who always remembered our order with a great big smile! This team is led by an amazing manager George who was also here 4 years ago so he knows how to run a hotel well. We have already enquired about booking for new year again next year, can’t wait to come back

We have just returned from the best week away. The hotel is just fantastic and the staff lovely. It was a family group of 10 and I so we went with this 3 star as the reviews were good. Well if this is 3 star. We have been blown away as we have recently returned from a 5 star hotel and the food here is nearly as good!! My wife is allergic to gluten and they made sure she was well looked after. The New Year’s Eve diner was exceptional with ever from oysters to fillet steak. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the lifts but they run you back and forth all day for free so it’s no issue at all. In short thank you to Frankie, Costa & Melosh, Juliet, Francois and the rest of them whose names escape me. We will be back!
