The Constance, the Whitlock, & the Dewey by the Lenox Collection

I have previously "reviewed" the stay but I will again provide information that may improve the process. I booked thru ******* what I thought ( and ******* probably thought was a stay at The Constance Hotel in Lenox. All communication from ******* ( including pictures of The Constance) indicated I had a valid registration. The day before our first night's reservation I received a text from the Hotel. I did not question why the text requested to check-in at The Whitlock Hotel (I assumed it was for efficiency, as we have stayed at The Constance and it is not staffed 24/7). The two Hotels are within walking distance. At check-in the Hotel staff gave us a key for a room at The Whitlock. Immediately I asked for a refund. The Hotel clerk explained the process between ******* and The Lenox Collection-- 3 hotels under one management was flawed. She blamed ******* and after a few calls "found" a room at The Constance which resolved the issue. No where in any ******* communication ( 4 emails) does it indicate we may not be staying where we believed we booked. In the future I will not be using ******* to book any travel. BTW, After the resolution, I believe we stayed in the best room at The Constance and had a lovely stay with the exception of being awakened by a false fire alarm. Please do not ask again for a "survey" response as this is my second time responding...... We had a very nice stay, and next time will need to book directly not thru an intermediary.

Location is the best feature of the Whitlock and the staff is terrific. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.The room was a great size for 2 friends.The ease of parking is also stellar.

It’s fine. We stayed at the Dewey property. Check in is a a different property and completely underwhelming. The Dewey Inn is a neat old building but a little tired.

Lovely stay Lovely stay for Tanglewood. Room 106 was very comfortable. It felt like its own private suite. It was very spacious and quiet. The only real downside was the bathtub. It’s beautiful to look at but it needs to have an update. I have no idea how anyone with mobility issues could manage it. Other than that, all was great! Staff was friendly and helpful and we loved that front porch!

Beautiful inn. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed. However there was a bit of a musty odor in the room. Not overpowering, but each time we walked into the room it was noticeable. We spent a couple of hours lounging on the beautiful porch. We will definitely be back to this beautiful inn and town.

Charming hotel in a charming town Lovely stay. Comfortable bed. Large room. Adequate breakfast (no hot options that we saw, but plenty of other yummy items to choose from) with lots of spaces to enjoy it. Just a few steps outside the main street area of of Lennox. Plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby. We attended an excellent outside show at the Shakespeare, which is just down the road, and hiked Mt Lenox as well. Tanglewood is outside of town too. Lots to do. Beautiful area. Great stay.
