Hotel in zona Capa Haus, Lipsia

The Townhouse Leipzig was one of our favorite hotels on our recent Germany and Austria vacation. Set in the heart of Leipzig within one of the oldest Rennaissance buildings in the city, the Townhouse is next door to the Bach Museum and steps away from Thomaskirche and the iconic statue of the great composer. Our top-floor room looked directly out on Thomaskirche and the Bach statue. Upon entering the hotel for the first time, we were impressed by the beautiful style and creativity of the unique decor and lighting, the charming furnishings, and the friendliness of the staff. Our spacious suite was spotless, had a kitchenette, comfortable couches, a nice flat-screen television, a large modern bathroom, quality linens and pillows, and a warm, welcoming message from the staff. Above the king bed was a large reproduction of one of Bach's cantata manuscripts. The windows opened up onto a stunning view of Thomaskirche and the surrounding city. The Townhouse Leipzig offers free high-speed Wi-Fi, a laundry service, a fitness area with workout equipment, a sauna, and a library! The restaurant provides excellent buffet breakfasts. We found several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance, including Johann S Restaurant & Bar a few steps from the hotel. The front desk staff were so helpful assisting us throughout our stay, looking up museum times and tram routes and schedules for us. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel and restaurant were friendly, helpful, and very professional. The price was surprisingly affordable, given the location and the quality of hotel, and the surrounding area was quiet at night. We loved being wakened by the Thomaskirche bells in the morning. The one minor inconvenience is the lack of on-site parking—not surprising given the unique location—but they offer a convenient unloading and loading area for luggage, and we found easy parking adjacent to Thomaskirche a two-minute walk from the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent boutique hotel to anyone visiting the city center, and if you're in Leipzig on a Bach pilgrimage and need a great place to stay, look no further.

Recata a Lipsia nel Luglio 2016, con un viaggio di gruppo organizzato dall' Agenzia ”Abaco Viaggi”. Siamo arrivati in ritardo causa un spiacevole disguido e una grossa bugia da parte dell' accompagnatrice di gruppo al titolare dell'hotel. Era meglio la cruda verità e l'ammissione da parte dell'assistente della propria incompetenza.. Nonostante tutto, il titolare è stato cordiale, a mio parere troppo, così come la famiglia e la guida della città. Ho avuto cena tedesca (come poche) e varia, camera spaziosa e fresca. Colazione superlativa. Se tornassi, sceglierei di nuovo questo hotel. Arrivederci dal Friuli Venezia Giulia. Lucia Floreani

We stayed here for a couple of nights en route to Berlin for the Euro 2024 final. We loved Leipzig. We had some of the best meals of our time in Germany there and it’s very pretty. The hotel was very convenient for the station (we travelled to all the games by train) and then a short walk on to the centre. There are plenty of bars and restaurants right around the hotel though. It was the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in where you have no key or card, just a number code. But it seemed to work ok. The rooms are adequate and clean with a good shower. Definitely worth staying here and very good value for what we paid.

La stanza non è molto grande, molto pulita, il bagno è secco separato, con una scatola di acqua calda elettrica e un ascensore, fornendo una bottiglia di acqua. Il ristorante dell'hotel è molto buono, c'è un piccolo cortile sotto.Al contrario della stazione ferroviaria, è molto buono a trovarlo.

I love Motel One. Normally. But this particularly premise won‘t be my first choice next time. The gentleman, who checked me in, was kind of distant, hardly polite. They still have time slots for breakfast, full hour only, which, he explained, is due to the fact that they have more rooms than space. However, they do have a quite nice bar on the 8th floor, in addition to the much less charming „lounge“ for breakfast in the 7th floor. Why don‘t they use both rooms, when they are sold out (e,g,during the book fair)? The hotel is also extremely noisy in terms of road traffic. It is located at a huge intersection, and about 8 (eight!) ultra-noisy tram lines cross on both sides of the hotel. Even on the 4th floor, and with my windows closed, I only finally fell asleep sometime after 1 a.m., when the last tram drove by, and woke up at 5 a.m., when the first tram of the day made itself heard. My request at check-in for a room at the 7th or 8th floor was ignored by the man I mentioned above. He also just gave me a voucher, with which I was sent to the 8th floor to pick up my complimentary bottle of water, while my colleague, who was checked in next to me by a very nice lady, received a bottle right away. I got mine only, when I asked, why I had to go up to the 8th floor, whereas my colleague got her water over the counter. Last but not least I usually use the Motel One stairways instead of the elevator, even if my room is located on the 6th floor or even higher. And especially, if there are only 3 small elevators in a hotel with - allegedly - 150 rooms (the reason given for the breakfast slots). However, in this hotel there are no stairs that get you to the lobby on the ground floor. I was told would have to exit in the Edeka Supermarket next door, go out into the street, and then enter the hotel again. Strange. Anyway, since there are 2 more Motel Ones in Leipzig, which are both great, nice and with a charming staff, I doubt that I will ever pick the „Post“ again.

The Felix is the perfect base for a stay in Dresden. Our apartment was clean and modern with everything you could need. The staff were friendly and efficient and the bar is a lovely place for a cocktail or a beer. Many of the famous sites are right at the doorstep and there are plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby. It’s an easy tram ride from the main station or a fairly quick walk if your bags are easy to carry.

Buchung kurzfristig problemlos, musste ein paar Minuten warten, bis die Buchung auch beim Hotel sichtbar war. Leider kein Mineralwasser oder Tee auf dem Zimmer und im Hotel war gegen 23 Uhr nichts mehr zu bekommen. Die Zimmer sind OK und sauber, aber kein für einen Laptop wirklich geeigneter Tisch. Fernseher ließ sich nicht spontan anschalten. WC empfand ich eher klein. Positiv ist für mich die Lage am Hauptbahnhof.

Siamo già stati la seconda volta nel breve tempo ospiti in questo confortevole e moderno hotel, perché ci piaceva così bene e ci sentivamo bene intorno. Qui l'ospite non mancava davvero niente! Il personale è sempre molto amichevole e utile. Le ragazze alla ricezione si accolgono con un sorriso e convincono in ogni momento con la loro pazienza e la loro competenza. Qui si sente davvero benvenuto. Ci è piaciuto molto: ogni giorno tutti i dipendenti di tutti i servizi come cucina, ricezione, servizio, ecc. si riuniscono per una breve pausa di colazione e si parlano. In questo modo la comunicazione funziona anche oltre il proprio settore, rafforza la sensazione di comunita' e facilita la cooperazione - che, in ultima analisi, è di vantaggio per gli ospiti. Il buffet per colazione è ben arredate e offre qualcosa per ogni gusto. I cocktail al bar sono davvero deliziosi e la pizza è anche buono. Le camere sono luminose e accoglienti, con grandi, ingoianti fronti della finestra. Sono stato in grado di dormire bene nei letti confortevoli, ma anche il bagno è moderno e elegante, con specchi grandi e bassi lavastoviglie angoli, e sufficienti spazi di ricambio. Non c'è niente di sfruttato qui e si sente semplicemente bene. A causa del mio compleanno circolare, nella nostra seconda visita abbiamo ricevuto un aggiornamento della camera in una splendida suite. Questo è stato notevolmente più grande, ha inoltre un armadio, bagno e WC sono separati qui. Molto piacevole, soprattutto quando si è in secondo luogo. In questo momento ancora una volta mi ringrazio sinceramente per questo regalo meraviglioso!!! (Solo bene che nessuno ci vedeva accanto alle mani di gioia e come i bambini saltavano intorno). Certo che torneremo, mi aspetto già 😘

Ideal location for a trip to the Porsche factory. Comfy rooms. Great staff. Big selection of food for breakfast Not far from the airport. We used the local buses and trains which were always on time This year we found a countryside walk to the Porsche factory that took just 25 minutes Will return !!

Great value for money. Needed a hotel for a quick stopover along the autobahn and ended up choosing Campanile airport hotel. Really happy with our choice; clean rooms with bunk beds for the kids and a great breakfast for a great price. Convenient parking as well to a subsidized price for hotel guests. Location is a bit off, but if you’re looking for an airport hotel or a hotel along the autobahn look no further. Note that they don’t have a restaurant so make sure you bring food with you, or eat in advance - options at the airport is limited and very expensive.
