Druids Glen Resort

Enjoyed a 3 day stay mid summer. Checkin was quick friendly and Katie on reception was so helpful with evey little query. The foyer is beautiful so comfortable classic large stone fireplace and beautiful furniture. The room was perfect and spotlessly clean. Stunning large bathroom with l'occitane toiletries in plentiful supply. We had a Juliet balcony it was great in the evenings to have the fresh air and views over the golf course. Used the SPA for treatments pure joy reasonable priced and the therapeutic range very satisfactory. The Therapist was lovely and very knowledgeable and professional. We had good in the bar one night it’s very busy so make a reservation especially for a crowd. Food good but portions on the fish on the small size for the price. Amazing walk around the outskirts of the golf course and we walked from the hotel to the club house where the staff were really welcoming and even offered us a lift back to the hotel. The views are stunning. Breakfast was excellent great choice hot buffet but I had omelettes or eggs Benedict to order instead which was no problem and arrived quickly. Great selection of herbal teas and juices. Staff at breakfast were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much to ask for. Beautiful place for a few days I’m really looking forward to a return trip ideal spot for a winter break as there is loads to do on site.

An outstanding hotel in a beautiful setting, the two courses are very well looked after stunning and a great selection of challenging wholes. The 19th whole is modern and classy. The Rooms are exceptional with beautiful views The spa is a must moody and warming atmosphere and a great massage. The hotels dining and Breakfast room serves a lovely selection of food. Great steak!

We stayed at Druid’s Glen last weekend to celebrate a special occasion and absolutely loved it. I spoke to Ash on the phone before booking and she was so incredibly helpful and could not do enough for me to make the upcoming stay special. She is amazing and made me so excited for our stay. When we arrived we met Oli and found him to be an absolute gent. He was so professional and polite and helped us with any request or query that we had. The room was beautiful and we spent our days in the sauna and plunge pool! The food in Hugo’s was delicious - we had scallops for starter, sea bream for main course and chocolate fondant for dessert which was absolutely gorgeous and airy and surprisingly light! The staff made our stay complete - particularly Ash and Oli. I’ve never had such lovely customer service in any other hotel.

We booked a stay for two nights which included breakfast.We ate in the bar on both nights and the food at breakfast time and at night time in the bar was faultless.The staff made us feel welcome at all times and I would certainly recommend Druids Glen to anyone looking a great place to stay.We’ll definitely be planning another stay in the future.

The hotel was lovely, I went with 3 of my friends and we had a fantastic evening. We stayed in a double room which was gorgeous, so spacious and clean. We booked the spa & lunch deal with an overnight stay. The girls in the spa were incredibly nice, I enjoyed my massage thoroughly. During the stay we were looked after by Remy, who is a credit to the hotel and absolutely fantastic at his job, the service he provided was exceptional. We will return very soon.

We were so looking forward to a relaxing fun filled break and enjoying some pampering from our hard working busy schedules as a family. Unfortunately this was far from the 5 star experience advertised.. It was a nightmare from the moment we got there. We made the request for a cot on the booking but it wasn't in the room when we arrived. We waited and waited. No cot. Went to lunch in the bar room and then down to the pool for an hour. We came back to the room and you guessed it. Still no cot was delivered. It took 4 requests to finally get the cot . The rest of our stay went pretty much the same way. Several calls placed to reception, bar room.. no one picks up. Over an hour wait for the room service which we were not advised about prior to ordering. I also don't understand why the main operator for the line is someone who has very limited english. The communication barriers are very frustrating. The food in the bar and the room service was ok. Far from 5 star. Due to the service being so bad overall, we decided to cancel our breakfast and go somewhere else. It's €25 per adult for the breakfast and €15 per child. The highlights from the trip were the pool and outside park was great for the child. The "playroom" is just full of broken tat. Will never be back to this hotel and will never recommend anyone to go. Total waste of money and probably the worst hotel we've ever been to.
