Great little hotel in the centre of Le Faouet positioned opposite the central market square. Steven the hotel manager could not be any more helpful and receptive, with all of the staff being really friendly and warm. The rooms are spacious and very well presented, with all good mod cons to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The restaurant is really well laid out so each table has enough space so that you are not sitting on top of each other and the inclusive menu offering a great choice of meals. Monday being Monday in France do not expect a lot and nothing else is open so bear that in mind, although there is a burglar pizza bar three doors down. I would highly recommend this hotel for a two or three night stay. My only gripe would be, that the heating could be on in the evenings as it did get cold.

We had an excellent lunch at La Croix d’Or having spent the morning visiting the wonderful Musée du Faouet. The restaurant is centrally located on the beautiful Place Bellanger in Le Faouet, opposite the stunning 15th century anciennes halles. We were warmly greeted on arrival and seated in the outside veranda on a delightful sunny midday. I ordered the entrée/plat of the menu du jour (17€), my starter of oeufs brouillés à la portugaise was exquisite and my main course of canette a la puree de potiron was delicious. My wife went ‘à la carte’ and ordered the rizotto aux langoustines (17€) which was simply exquisite – delicate, perfectly combined flavours. Service throughout was attentive and courteous. We were delighted with this excellent meal, superb value at €37 (two café noisettes incl.) for two people. We shall certainly return.

Hôtel vieillissant ou les chambres auraient besoin d'un très sérieux rafraichissement. Isolation minimaliste ou on entend les occupants des chambres voisines Petit déjeuner à 13 € pour du pain rassi , quelques viennoiseries ... et c'est tout. C'est très cher pour ce qui est proposé. Accueil très sympa à l'arrivée , beaucoup moins le lendemain au départ .... Mais ça c'est avoir de l’amabilité ou pas .... Je ne recommande pas !

Les chambres sont simples mais confortables avec un lit de 160. Tout fonctionne parfaitement : la salle de bains, le (ou la)wifi, la bouilloire avec thé et café. Il faut insister sur la qualité de l'accueil, la gentillesse et l'humour de Steven. Nous avons dîné au restaurant et tout était parfait !

Trés bon restaurant, repas du weed-end, un régal pour les yeux et les papilles Personnel très très aimable, gentils, polis, serviables, venant régulièrement demandé si tout va bien rt si les plats nous plaisent. Je vous le conseille. Nous, on y retournera....

Me rendant sur un salon le lendemain j'ai dormi à la croix D'or pour une nuit. D'abord surprise de voir encore des clés sur les portes :) j'ai découvert des chambres spacieuses et confortables avec salle de bain et toilette indépendant. Le couple de propriétaires est adorable et aux petits soins. J'ai diné sur place d'un copieux repas étape joliment présenté. Si vous n'avez pas peur de vous perdre sur les petites routes Bretonnes je vous recommande cet établissement, une jolie surprise !

Accueil excellent chambres très confortables petit déjeuner copieux hôtel très bien géré par son Directeur et son personnel je recommande fortement cet hôtel également très bien situé au cœur du village pittoresque avec commerces de proximité pharmacie pâtisserie supermarché etc P Bid

Très bonne convivialité. . Équipe très sympa et le service est très agréable. . Cuisine est tres bonne. ... La salle vient juste d'être terminée et sa donne un effet très chaleureux. Du côté de l'hôtel, les chambres sont très confortables. .

Après avoir passé une nuit dans l'hôtel au mois de juillet, nous avions hâte de venir au restaurant. Aujourd'hui, chose faite. Bravo à toute l'équipe. Nous avons pu apprécier la bonne cuisine. Ne changez rien. Vous êtes fabuleux 52 kms pour venir déjeuner chez vous ne nous font pas peur. A très bientôt.
