I literally saw the manager twice during my entire stay he wasn’t even there while my checkout, even though we where the only couple in the hotel for a week, they didn't tell us anything about the agreements they had with the beach clubs, although it’s written down in the entrance that the rooms were cleaned every day if you catch the manager by any chance he will do it every 3 days, which makes the room a swamp all the time since you basically have to swim to the hotel entrance from anywhere because everything around it is under construction and the mud, puddles, and swamp don't let you enter the hotel without getting filled with it. So your room will smell like a swamp the whole time. It is two blocks from the beach, but to get there you have to cross two “cenotes” basically, where the water reaches up to your knees, customer service is zero, non-existent and if you are going to work remotely from there, good luck because it is impossible since it seems to be the only hotel where the internet lasts 6 days without connecting, and the excuse is that it is because it is on an island, while all the other places do have internet. All taxis to any place from there are 200mx approximately 15usd, and you take at least two a day because it is impossible to get there without being filled with construction, swamp, so if you are looking for economy this is not the place because, given what the hotel costs, you will have to invest 30usd a day minimum in a taxi to get out of the hotel. The photos on the internet are very misleading. Don't expect a hotel like the one in the photos, as it is basically white stucco and cement.

A wonderful place to stay , the family staff are just so lovely , they assist in what ever you need ,, the room , bathroom , bedding and linen are just so comfortable and luxurious ,,, the location is peaceful and quiet yet only a short walk to beaches and many eateries or supermarket , shops , cafe It also have air conditioning which is nice to use when you need . The best locations to watch the sunsets or sit on the beach and watch sunsets , short walk to see the flamingos or bioluminescence , just a great comfortable , perfectly located , and great location for boat pick ups for fishing

Fuimos de visita a Holbox con la idea de aprovechar al máximo la playa, para ello realicé por airbnb la reservación de una noche sin inconveniente alguno. Todo estaba perfecto hasta que llegamos al lugar y nos atendió una hombre quien no nos dijo ni su nombre, con pésimo humor y de muy mala gana. En primer lugar, por un inconveniente propio de su organización interna no tenía la habitación (simple) disponible, sino una mas grande. Ante esta situación, comenzó el maltrato de este hombre, resaltando que no habiamos pagado por ello y mostrándonos que no tenia disponibilidad. Lejos de enojarnos, fuimos pacientes y lo unico que le dijinos era que necesitabamos un lugar para dejar nuestras cosas e irnos a la playa, a lo que su respuesta fue "tu check in es a las 15 (faltaban 10 minutos) y ustedes van a ir al lugar que pagaron, refiriendo a una habitación pequeña". Esperamos hasta que nos terminó dando la única habitación que tenia disponible. Lejos de hacerlo de manera amable me exigió un deposito de 300 pesos mexicanos por cualquier rotura, etc. y cómo él no tenía cambio le tuve que dar 500 pesos mexicanos, aclaro que lo hizo de manera amenazante, resaltando que ante la "mínima" mancha no nos devolverian el dinero del deposito, entramos asustados a la habitación. Luego de darnos la llave siguió con las instrucciones, "que debiamos lavar todo lo que usemos, platos, vasos, etc, que debiamos tener cuidado con las toallas, etc etc, y que la mujer que limpiaba solo hacia una limpieza general por lo que debia quedar la habitación impecable". Esto lo repitió varias veces, y además siempre bajo la amenaza de no devolver el depósito. Además se nos exigió que el check out sea MÁXIMO 11 30 am cuando airbnb nos decia 12 pm, y se nos advirtió que el vidrio de la puerta de entrada a la habitación estaba roto, que debiamos a ser sumamente cuidadosos porque era un "riesgo" para todos. En cuanto al lugar, esta a 800 metros de la playa y 700 del centro, la habitación que nos dieron es la más grande, es espaciosa y se la notaba limpia, pero en la cocina había hormigas y algunos pelos en la cama (a pesar de eso el colchón era cómodo). No volveria al lugar despues del mal trato de la recepción.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Airbnb war einfach fantastisch! Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist unser Host Joe – unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets erreichbar, um unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer zu machen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

Pesimo servicio por parte de la señora que supuestamente es la encargada de la propiedad, hara todo lo posible por no ayudarte , estuvimos 4 noches sin poder dormir acausa de ruido de la bomba del agua que pusieron justo en la ventana del cuarto , ademas deso pasamos todo 1 dia sin agua y sin poder bañarnos , problema que solo nuestra habitación tenia y la encargada no quizo cambiarnos de cuarto incluso nos ofendio , todo esto con tal de no tener que limpar otra habitación. Invito al dueño de la propiedad a tomar cartas en el asunto. Por parte les sugiero busquen otro lugar ya que cosas asi te arruinan la experiencia.
