Located in Layton, Utah, our hotel’s motto is to “Impress Guests”, and we surely will! Whether you are here for business, leisure, or a little bit of both, we are designed to meet your every need. We are conveniently located just off I-15, and I-84 and Hwy 89 are accessible within minutes of the hotel. For our business travelers, we have meeting space that will accommodate over 40 people. Our Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the hotel, and our business center is conveniently accessible 24 hours a day. Companies such as ATK, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Autoliv, as well as Hill Air Force Base are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. For our leisure travelers, we are within an hour’s drive of world class skiing, either at Snowbasin Resort or Park City resorts. Lagoon Amusement Park is just a short drive away, as well as many hiking, biking, and outdoor activities. Swim laps in our indoor pool or enjoy the hot tub after a long day! So this is a great location for walking to dining establishments and the movie theater .it's also located in the heart of them as well

We booked well in advance and only found out at check-in that the elevator was out of service. Despite this, the front desk assigned us a room on the 4th floor. My 70-year-old mother was expected to carry her luggage upstairs – unacceptable. Only after insisting did we get a room on the 2nd floor.
The hotel is clearly in need of renovation. Paint is worn, fixtures outdated – and it's the first hotel we've ever seen with EXIT signs installed at floor level. While this may be intended for visibility in case of smoke during a fire, it's also a clear indicator of how the building is aging.
Pros:
Clean, quiet room.
Cons:
Poor communication, lack of empathy, and an overall feeling that guests with special needs are not considered.

The elevator did not work but thankfully we were on the first floor. Our room assigned was near one of the highly traveled exit and stairs area causing much noise late into the night and again early in the morning. Our quality of sleep was very limited from people talking etc. and allowing doors to slam. Not a good stay.

We always enjoy Holiday Inn Express.
This time the pool was closed, ice maker was broken on our floor and construction cones all around the parking lot.
Will stay again. We were just a little disappointed this time.

Harness
The room was clean. The shower was the hard part thr handle to turn the water on i had to gey my husband to turn on and off he was evening having a hard time. The shower floor was also really slippery.

Good customer service but needs work on room
The AC did not work. We were super hot the entire weekend even thought it’s not even summer yet. The TV and thermostat in the first room we got did not work at all. I ignored it at first thinking it would be fine even though the room as extremely hot. But after I took a shower, I saw that the water was not draining in the shower.
The front desk attendant was very helpful and was able to move us to another room. The TV did work in this room and thermostat did work as well, however the temperature in the room did not go below 78 degrees. The room was extremely hot. Shower was fine.
Overall, the comfortability was not good because of the room temperature. It was fine because we were gone most of the day but definitely not comfortable to sleep in. I’m usually cold but I was very hot the entire trip.

It was in a very convenient area. Hotel was updated. Breakfast was just ok. We did run out of hot water. Upon checking in the lobby was dark so that was odd. But overall it was a good stay.

Good price, good choice. I’m glad we stayed there and I would recommend. Impressed with the continental breakfast they offered. Pool/hot tub needed a bit of attention but nothing to bags
