Magnificent couple retreat where you are able to create special memories for you and your partner. There are multiple activities on the premises that you can choose to take part in or you can relax in your amazing accommodation, with a real log fire blazing away. There is spectacular walk next to the property that is divine and the Manager Jess is the epitome of happiness and desire to make your stay wonderful. It's heaven for a couple, away from the noise and bustle of city life.

My husband and I had the most magical weekend at Possums Hideaway, and I can't recommend this place enough for a romantic getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquillity and romance. The secluded location provided the perfect backdrop for a peaceful retreat, allowing us to reconnect and unwind in a truly beautiful setting. This would be probably close to our 10th visit here over a 15 year period and in all this time it has remained consistently perfect. The cabin was impeccably clean, cosy, and thoughtfully decorated, creating an inviting and warm ambiance with the slow wood heater. The spa bath was very luxurious plenty big enough for two. Jess was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. She provided us with excellent recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We took advantage of the breakfast basket which provided more than enough for breakfast, delicious pancakes and granola. Possums Hideaway is the epitome of a romantic retreat—secluded, serene, and simply stunning. We left feeling rejuvenated, closer than ever, and already planning our next visit. If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with your partner, this is the place to be. Five stars simply aren't enough!

Perfect couples retreat, peaceful and acomodation provides everything you need for a weekend away. The cabin has a cosy feel and we love the wood fireplace which kept us toasty during our stay when temperatures dropped. This was the second time we have stayed at Possum Hideaway and we just love it. Highly recommended. Lovely stay! Family had a great time. Plentiful activities for the kids- volleyball, giant chess, games room, heated pool- kids tried them all and enjoyed everything. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet given the shared wall with other cabins. Location is great too- very close to Katoomba and tourist sites.

This was our 8th or 9th visit to Federation Gardens & Possum Hideaway. The location is perfect for walks and a short drive to Blackheath. The accomodation is comfortable and cosy, the grounds are fabulous and family friendly, the Jess and the team are the best hosts you could wish for. That's why we keep coming back!

We stayed 3 nights at Possums Hideaway mid week, and got a great Autumn deal on their website. We found Federation Gardens when we were in our 20s by chance, and this was about our 6th stay. Our daughter is now 18, and we went back and did a couples stay which was awesome. Jess and staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was cosy and very clean with lots of nice little touches including beautiful candles and a log fire, spa, and even an apple for the possums ! We have stayed in all of their accommodation and they are all great but my favourite is now the Possums Hideaways. Beautiful outlook. Definitely will be back !! #Federation Gardens

This place was awesome to stay at. We were there for a planning retreat. The staff were friendly and flexible, and so responsive. Blackheath village had great little cafes and restaurants - so many to choose from.. The surrounding bushland was sublime, and I even got to meet Louis the Lyrebird who mimics so many other bush birds like rosellas, honey eaters, currawongs, black cockatoos.

Well appointed cabin in a secluded quiet, couples only section. As I stepped out of the cabin on the first morning a Lyre Bird ran past. The manager was friendly and helpful, calling me by name each time I entered the office. Thoroughly recovered for a getaway in the Blue Mountains.

My partner and I had the most amazing time whilst staying in possums cabin no 4 on the weekend! So neat, well presented and a cosy outlook. We will definitely be back real soon! The staff were welcoming and friendly, I will recommend Federation Gardens and Possums Hideaway to as many people as I possibly can! Thankyou so much for a memorable experience ❤️
