This Marriott is a hotel at which their apocryphal three-star experience grows more distant with each attempt you make at attaining it. The Wifi at this Marriott doesn't work, their phones can't reach anyone at the front desk or any hotel operator, and you will be kept awake late into the night by loud partying and doors slamming. The hallways of this Marriott reek of booze, sweat, and smoke. If you manage to reach anyone who works at the hotel after an hour of contact attempts via hotel phone, Marriott hotlines, and online chats with third-party travel sites, Marriott may move you to a smaller room in which no one has stayed since the Clinton administration, with a broken TV, stale air, and a slick layer of grease upon every surface. This Lawrence, Kansas Marriott will downgrade you while exhausting you, until you are a worn-out shadow of the person you once were, hundreds of dollars poorer. Abandon hope, all ye who book the Marriott TownePlace Suites in Lawrence, Kansas.

Quello che poteva essere una buona recensione è diventato una cattiva recensione. Ci siamo fermati una notte. Poco dopo aver fatto entrare nella nostra stanza, abbiamo notato un forte odore di fogna che veniva dal nostro bagno. Abbiamo segnalato al divano che ha ricevuto il GM sul telefono e ha mandato il custode. Non c'è manutenzione sul sito. Sono d'accordo che ha profumato terribile. Mio marito ha parlato con il GM; sono stati venduti fuori e non aveva altro posto per metterci dentro. La casa di sorella è stata venduta fuori. Da California e molti giorni di lunghe edizioni. Voleva solo sistemarsi e dormire. ha iniziato molto bene e ha offerto di darci i nostri punti di ritorno e poi alcuni. Abbiamo fatto uscire la stanza, abbiamo spinto i tovaglioli sotto la porta del bagno e abbiamo dormito con solo un leggero odore. La mattina dopo, sono andato al divano e ho parlato con il GM & gli ha detto che l'odore è terribile e che potrebbero volerlo affrontare prima di mettervi una famiglia. Gli ho ricordato che siamo usciti dalla città e non abbiamo molte opzioni.
