My wife and I stayed at Roemahkoe for two nights in august 2023. We had a spectacular experience. The building is a truly unique hotel and we feel very lucky to have stayed there. The staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I arrived with a bit of food poisoning and they walked us to a possible room upgrade that would be the quietest room in the hotel. Also, without asking, they immediately turned down the (already soft) lobby music when we got in the room to make sure I could rest. This is a treasure in Solo and I hope many more people get to experience the stay.

Het hotel ligt langs een drukke straat. Het is authentiek uit de koloniale tijd. Het nadeel is dat er geen gemeenschappelijke ruimte is. De badkamer met een lekkende wastafel en een viezen douchebak en douchegordijn voldoen niet aan 4-sterren. Het ontbijt is pas vanaf 7 uur terwijl je bij een doorreis graag vroeg wil vertrekken. Wel was het ontbijt to go prima. Wij raden het niet perse aan.

Wat een verborgen parel, langs de weg, achter een muur. Fantastisch mooi groot koloniaal huis. Met hoogteverschillen, kleine winkel met batik. Prachtige suite gehad met woonkamer, slaapkamer en badkamer. Heerlijk ontbijt. Lekkere snacks! Heerlijk geslapen ondanks een drukke straat. Heel vriendelijk personeel.

Quel dommage pour cette superbe bâtisse art déco !! Suis restée 3 nuits.....Malgré un sur classement en suite sur l'arrière, vous entendez le bruit de la circulation de la rue/route devant ! Les sdb ne sont pas entretenues ( baignoire ou douche ) et cette odeur d'égout lorsque vous entrez dedans .....chambres remplies de moustiques...et rat devant la porte côté extérieur !!!! Vraiment désolant !!! Le Personnel par contre est très gentil et essaye de vous faire plaisir. Vraiment dommage car le petit quartier juste derrière est vraiment paisible et plaisant ....
