This hotel is in a great location in Laval. You can walk to many restaurants and bars and the old part of town. It is good for transport as it is within walking distance from the train station. The rooms are clean and have all the expected amenities. The breakfast is a good French breakfast with a variety of cheeses and deli meats and fresh breads. My room was on the small side, but fine as I was on my own.

Ayant réservé 4 chambres pour une réunion de famille et fort d'une première expérience dans cet établissement il y a quelques années sous l'enseigne ”première classe ” l'expérience n'était pas la même. Anche se l’établissement à vieillesse (les moquettes des couloirs échées et les caches poussière sous les sommiers penduille un peu ) la prestation reste correcte. NEANMOINS l’objectif premier d’un hôtel est de dormir ! Quindi quando la climatizzazione che è esistente ma che non funziona e che apparentemente non è pronta a funzionare. Con una temperatura nel mese di luglio a 30 gradi fuori canicule nella stanza e le finestre dando a dieci metri sulla rocca di Laval come dire? Che il termine ”TOT CONFORT” nella sua descrizione pubblicitaria del vostro istituto mi sembra un po' bugiardo, perché non finiremo disidratati abbiamo dovuto dormire la finestra aperta e quindi senza tende occulte (ventrina aperta complicata) quindi con la circolazione stessa ridotta questo rimane una rocca e l’illuminazione di questa SUPER! Le sommum les 4 chambres réservé du même côté donc même expérience. Sono io che ho consigliato questo hotel! Malgrado le richieste per 2 volte alla ricezione è la direction.patati patata .... e la mia richiesta di vedere la direzione non funziona il sabato ah buono ! 2 stelle perché le prestazioni secondarie restano buone, ma la principale dormire in buona condizione non è raggiunta.

Abbiamo sentito tutta la notte che le auto fanno la gara che non è affatto appoggiato! Mancano attrezzature come una seconda mini tavola di notte, in modo che l'altra persona possa almeno posare le sue cose.

Hotel idealmente situato vicino al centro storico di Laval . Le camere sono moderne , pulite con una bella qualità di letto . Colazione di qualità. Si può godere (non testato) del Spa dell'hotel 4 stelle che è nella stessa struttura. Personale al top .

We visited France for an event in ernee from the UK. We originally booked a hotel in fougeres and when we arrived it was terrible and not as shown online so searched and luckily found one last room at the ibis in Laval! It was the best thing we did moving hotels as it was clean, modern, friendly and inviting staff and it made our visit even better! Nothing was too hard for the staff who went out their way to help us and all other guests! A real gem of a hotel in Laval if you’re visiting soon. If we visit again 100% this will be booked as our hotel

I needed an overnight stay in Laval, that was convenient for the train station. This hotel was a perfect fit. My room was on the 2nd floor and not facing the street. It was very quiet, very clean and with a small but powerful shower. I did not book a breakfast when I booked the room, but when checking out the smell of fresh bread and coffee persuaded me to buy a breakfast. I was not disappointed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly front desk staff. Strongly recommend the hotel.

Advert/website deceptive. This NOT the quiet hotel surrounded in quiet grounds expected. It is situated between two very busy roads into Laval - the leafy/ivy fronted picture is deceptive. We arrived at 5pm ( it was dark) and the hotel entrance was not illuminated (so it seemed closed). Upon entry we were hit by a strong, most unpleasant sewage ( yes sewage !) smell. No lift and our room was on the first floor, no help with cases and awkward split level with WC up two steps off the bedroom and shower/ washroom up one step. The shower was OK but (as with most hotels) no grab/handrails for older doddery people and useless soap/shower gel dispenser. The sink cubicle had no towel rails nor enough space to put out toilet bags etc. The bed was a small double - but good lighting. The only positive feature of our stay was the restaurant and food which was EXCELLENT. VV good quality food, service and staff - nearly Michelin standards and extremely good value. We had €22 menu - starter, main course and dessert plus G&T, glass red wine and coffee - total cost €62 - v v good value. Breakfast good too. Stay again ? No definitely NOT. Overall mid 3* establishment minus 2* for sewage smell (=1*). NOT recommended; except worth a visit for the excellent restaurant. Pity !
