"Quando arrivava, la strada di accesso era piuttosto una cattiva strada dissuasiva, non si poteva creare per un normale autoveicolo, ma l'accesso diretto alle case è stato ancorato da un difetto di costruzione. La casa che avevamo affittato per primo era solo un appartamento. Le foto sono state molto ridotti. Il noleggiatore Stefano e il suo personale erano molto amichevoli e hanno aiutato senza problemi con un'altra casa. Questo ha anche soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Il giardino dell'impianto è bellissimo. Fiori.. e uccelli tutto li'. La piscina ... Okay ...Se guardate le foto accuratamente vedete ... è piuttosto un grande bagno. Da un bar occupato ...usv Sfortunatamente non abbiamo visto niente ...Solo intorno alla piscina.. e poi un tipo di soggiorno con copertura.. ma in realtà molto confortevole. Il problema principale è stato il rumore costante ...La posizione di pendenza e la vicinanza relativa hanno fatto un rumore di circa 20 ore come su un'autostrada con disco collegato. Rilassamento e riposo è assolutamente escluso !!! Abbiamo cercato un nuovo alloggio dopo due giorni. Avremmo potuto gettare la vacanza in tonnellata. Se avessimo rimasto due settimane fa... sarebbero state due notti.. !!!"

"21 Palms provides the perfect marriage between the solitude of an idyllic paradise and the creature comforts of a hotel. The rooms themselves are planted in the midst of palm trees and bushes of wild flowers, a 360-degree view of nature. Within a short walk, a pristine beach awaits, its waters nestled in a small bay. Few people come here, although we saw our share of horses and cattle strolling by. We often had the beach to ourselves. Our stay was peaceful, romantic, and relaxing, but we also had all of our needs met. Our room was spacious and air-conditioned with a working refrigerator and stove. The beds were comfortable, with room service provided daily. There are even fresh flowers and fruit for each room, a thoughtful extra touch. Breakfast was perfect, a variety of tropical fruit, fresh-squeezed juice, coffee, and a pressed ham and cheese sandwich. We had the option to buy groceries at the nearby market and cook our meals, go to the restaurants in town, or ask Andrea ( the owner of 21 Palms) to call for food delivery. He has a variety of menus for the guests to choose from. Andrea told us that he plans to open an Italian restaurant on the premises, which would be amazing. We would love to come back and eat there. The bar is a great feature of the hotel. It’s open until 10 pm, and it’s a great way to socialize with the other guests. It’s a relaxed environment with very nice people from all over the world. Las Galeras is a great place to stay in The DR. There are many beautiful beaches and rivers accessible by car or boat. The area is peaceful with a small town feel. And 21 Palms is the best place to stay. The owner is accommodating yet respectful of your privacy. And the price is affordable for the level of service. I highly recommend this quaint bed and breakfast."

"I had a reservation for two days. I was driving from Santo Domingo. It's a 4 hour drive. That gave me a 2 hour window to get there before check in ended (which was in the terms, but I didn't know). I let the proprietor know we were on the side of the road and were awaiting assistance. I'd be late, but I didn't know how late. Her response was, "Oh, what to do?" NEVER did she say, "I'm going to have to cancel your reservation so you should look for another place to stay." So, I get there at 9:00. Keep in mind, I am a foreigner in a strange place at night and I don't know where I"m going. The desk clerk tells me I'm at the wrong address. So, I wander around for the next 2 1/2 hours looking for the place and e-mailing the proprietor who has not responded to anything since I told her we were stranded on the side of the road. I tried looking up the address using the PIN number and it wouldn't work. That's when I thought, "Is the reservation cancelled?" Keep in mind, it was for 2 days... After spending the night in my car in on a back road, I get a request to verify that I didn't. check in and was notified of the cancellation. I clearly didn't know that I was violating the check in time and at no time was any information or help offered in that regard. I think this is the WORST customer service and I would NEVER stay here or recommend it to anyone. Had I been told at 4, when I told her about the car delay, I would have had plenty of time to make other arrangements. Had she told me at 9:00, that still would have been plenty of time. Figuring it at out 11:00 p.m. after traveling since 2:00 a.m. left me exhausted and without options."

Michelle and Gerard the hosts we’re helpful in navigating Las Galeras with where to go, eat, beach etc…Loved it was centrally located to walk into town for cafe and croissants, lunch or just to pick up water. Playita beach was a little stroll around the corner and was a daily event for us."
