Onisillos Hotel

Warm water was only available between 9am and 9pm, it wasn't hot water at all.. the heater din't work. Hotel looks like 80's and in general it was not only damaged but as well dirty. Location in fact was good, only 5 min to old town, to the sea and promenade.

I’ve read other reviews for this hotel and found some of them quite unreasonable. Considering the price point, you can’t expect all the bells and whistles. The manager works tirelessly from early mornings to late nights and always makes an effort to greet guests with a warm welcome. The rooms, while a bit dated, come equipped with good air conditioning and showers that offer consistent hot and cold water—amenities that are often lacking in other budget hotels I’ve stayed at. The hotel’s location is great, just a short walk from the trendy bars and restaurants of Larnaca. It’s close to charming backstreets that offer much more than the touristy beachfront spots. By saving on the hotel, you can enjoy dining out at these lovely local places.

Never felt the need to complain about a hotel stay up until now. We stayed with Onisillos Hotel from March 9th to the 11th and it was well and truly the worst experience ive ever had staying at a hotel. The windowsill in bathroom was vile, rotten and falling apart. Loose tiles in all parts of the room on floor and walls. We had to request to have the hot water turned on in our room for a shower and then the manager pressured us into having a shower quickly so he could turn it back off again. He kept complaining that every time the expensive part from the boiler breaks when people shower, he needs to order the part from Italy and will bill the customers for this. On the Friday morning we showered and then left our room for breakfast and to go and have a swim in the beach, when we came back to our room, we asked for the hot water to be turned back on so we could wash and get changed for the evening. The manager at first denied us having a second shower until I said we'd been in the sea and I need a shower to wash off the sand and salt... I was disgusted by him even denying us a shower when we were paying guests. The shower itself was broken and not fixed to the wall, had low pressure and the water was lukewarm at best even when boiler was supposedly turned on. Our TV had a Greek plug with a UK plug socket on the wall so we were unable to use the television. When we addressed this with the manager, he asked if we could speak Greek as this is the only language on local TV so don't worry about the TV if we cannot. Room was filthy under the beds/tables and we found mess under every bed including a water bottle in the bottom of the sofa bed with an expiry date from 2 years ago! Had to hand in our key when we went out in the evening which I've never had to do at any hotel I've ever stayed at. Hotel was generally old and dilapidated. All in all would avoid staying here. Awful.

Hotel trochę zaniedbany ale właściciel bardzo miły i pomocny. Pokoje skromne i niezbyt czyste. Tak właściwie to standard hostelu. Dużym plusem jest położenie. Blisko do wszystkich atrakcji w Larnace. Jeśli komuś zależy na bazie wypadowej to można polecić

L'un des pires hôtel où j'ai pu aller. Mais le rapport prix/prestation, là c'est le pire de tous !! 2 nuits pour 100€ pour une chambre sale, et non entrenue. Pas d'alèse de lit, un drap très fin à même un vieux matelas datant de je ne sais quand.. En prenant possession de la chambre, présence de longs cheveux sur l'abattant des WC. Pas de prise électrique proche du lit. Un interrupteur dans la douche. Je n'ai pas envie de mourir électrocuté ! Les poubelles n'ont pas été vidées au matin de mon 2e jour (je rappelle qu'à Chypre on ne met pas le papier toilette dans le WC mais dans la poubelle ...). C'est honteux. Des produits d'entretien qui reste dans la chambre. Présence de 2 altères au niveau du garde corps. Aurais-je besoin de faire du sport ? Ci-joint quelques clichés imageants mes propos
