"Il nostro soggiorno era stato rinnovato, così abbiamo avuto il lusso di un enorme letto di quattro poster e un bel balcone. Questo hotel ha i più amici proprietari e il personale che vi rende così benvenuti. La posizione dell'hotel è bella, a pochi passi dalla passeggiata e una bella passeggiata alla città e ferry. Ha anche un parcheggio privato. Sicuramente consigliamo l'Hotel Woodhouse a chiunque pensa di un viaggio a Grands."

"Da quando siamo arrivati a Broom Lodge, sapevamo che eravamo in un trattamento. Il vero cuore di questa casa degli ospiti è il proprietario, Shona. È incredibilmente amichevole e accogliente, che ti fa sentire come un ospite ordinario dal primo "ciao".E' chiaro che lavora senza stanchezza per assicurare che ogni ospite sia ben guardato; nulla è troppo difficile per lei. La casa stessa è mantenuta a un impeccabile standard di pulizia, tutto è assolutamente senza spot. La posizione è perfetta per esplorare i Grandi, ma il vero spettatore è la splendida vista sull'acqua all'isola di Cumbrae. Svegliarsi fino a quella vista è stato l'accento del nostro viaggio. Se stai cercando un posto caldo, comodo e bellissimo per rimanere a Ayrshire, non guardare più. Non possiamo aspettare di tornare!"

"We’ve visited Largs for years and always say how good it would be to stay. The problem is there’s not a lot of accommodation in the town. We booked this Peacock guest house for an overnight stay. Pre check-in was well explained and your room key is in a lock box at the front door. All the instructions were clear and all work well. Personally we prefer the low key approach to guest houses. The room we had is on the first floor and was very well furnished, decorated and clean. All the other rooms are on the ground level. I would say that if you have any ailments precluding you from climbing stairs you might be better asking for a ground level room. The stairs are quite steep. Loads of nice touches in the room and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast is great. All the normal continental choice and also a breakfast that desperate dan would have trouble with. I managed it just but you can ask for as little or as much as you want. Everything was good quality and piping hot. The guest house is positioned nicely a short walk ( 5 minutes) from the train station and the town. All in all a great wee place and good value. We will return and would not hesitate to recommend it to others."

"È una bella camera pulita con doccia in-suite.Troppo numerose "regole" dittate su arrivare, ad esempio.shoes off immediatamente in casa per "mantenere la casa pulita" (perche' avere una scala grigia molto pallida e un telaio di atterraggio?!) Poco pensava di avere un arrangiamento chiave della porta anteriore. Una chiave per coppia da chiudere prima e dopo la partenza e l'ingresso, e noi sentimmo che la povera donna che ci salutava era la sfortunata portatrice di istruzioni di un duro capo di lavoro. Colazione non offerta o nemmeno menzionata Tutto in tutto per un soggiorno rilassante, aperto. "
