Comfort Suites

For being the first time in lorado tx the place was alright nice front desk clerk over all checking in was ok. When got the keys to my room the room was dirty. The pull out sofa bed had nasty nasty red spots in their it was so nasty. Then as I go in the bath room I see pi stains in the restroom and no to top it all of I also had to clean the bathroom tub because it was dirty.. I was very unpleased I was expecting a better place since they had discribed to me and it was not worth my stay.. very unhappy.

We try this place since it was nearby our location. We claim the rate shown on TripAdvisor and manager argued to charge $5 more for online reservation, which i refused. At the end he accepted when we headed to the door. Hallways carpets were old and dirty when we look for the room. Once there, we found scraped furniture and a hide a bed that resemble more a medieval torture machine than a resting device. Breakfast was cheap, just waffles cereal and some juice and coffee. Dress code from attendants was terrible, they look more like gang members than hostess. And guess what, no bottled water on rooms!!!

Do yourself a favor and just don’t go to this hotel. You and your family deserve better than this place. First off parking is limited so if you plan to go out that night then get an Uber because people have been circling the parking lot for hours to find a spot. This hotel stinks, as in it smells funky in the lobby, hallways, elevator and the rooms. The elevator seems to be running on prayers because it seems to scream when someone tries to use it. When I got my “first” room I encountered my first problem. The phones were not working the lamps were unplugged. I went to the bathroom, and noticed a elongated toilet seat on a round toilet bowl.🤦 The pillows on my bed were small while the other bed had pillows of a regular size. It’s like nothing is consistent in this room. If you’re hoping to charge your phones or other devices then bring your own wall charger because they having nothing to help you here. My real problem with my room, was when I I thought I accidentally locked myself out. The door closed behind me and I thought I was screwed. It turns out that the door doesn’t even latch, which means it doesn’t lock. We ended up getting another room instead. Our next room we provided a photo of the beds and to me -I get the feeling that every room in this hotel has “character” because I think that each room has its own unique problem. The head boards on our beds our extremely different and it looks like they covered holes with boards nailed in. Again I had issues with my pillows because they vary in sizes and in number. I have two little pillows and one sham pillow while my brother has two decent pillows. In the previous room we had at least four and this tells me that consistency is not a virtue that they have in this hotel. Anyways I needed ice for my drink and the only ice machine is on the first floor. It turns out it doesn’t work. What a bummer. I then decided it’s time for me to relax in their Jacuzzi. Apparently they didn’t bother to heat the jacuzzi and worst of all it was filthy just like the pool. I chose this place because I needed a Jacuzzi, but I learned another lesson. A room is more important than the Jacuzzi. Well I hope the breakfast is good!
