Hotel in zona Saekyung Village 1, Lapu-Lapu

The specific hotel is just 20 minutes driving from the Cebu airport. Its location is excellent. I can say that it was a small paradise. There is a huge pool with a bar that you can spend your day. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was huge. The room was amazing, very clean. The Cara Spa was excellent with professional staff. Also, the Nonki restaurant offers one of the best sushi i have ever tried. Thank you for making our honeymoon so unique!

Ottimo hotel con la sua spiaggia! Abbiamo prenotato 2 camere deluxe lato piscina al Costabella e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti delle camere. Erano molto spaziose e la vista dalle nostre camere era favolosa! Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno qui, c'erano un sacco di bellissimi lettini intorno alla piscina e in spiaggia. Uso gratuito di paddle board e canoe. Abbiamo soggiornato al Costabella per 3 notti ed è stato un soggiorno molto rilassante. La struttura è vecchia ma molto ben tenuta e tutto il personale era molto disponibile. La colazione a buffet era buona, il cibo al ristorante era delizioso, le bevande al bar Luna erano fantastiche e c'è un tavolo da biliardo gratuito su cui giocare. L'unico aspetto negativo che abbiamo riscontrato su Costabella è che non puoi semplicemente uscire dalla proprietà per andare in un minimarket o in un altro ristorante. Se vuoi stare lontano dal trambusto, questo è il posto dove stare. Sì, torneremmo di nuovo a Costabella ma la prossima volta porteremo i nostri snack e bevande.

We just returned home from Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. It was our first time in Cebu. It was a short but great trip. The highlights: Accommodations: We chose Crimson because we frequent high-rise hotels when traveling and decided this time we wanted a villa/bungalow type of room. No hallways and no elevators. Crimson checked those boxes. They also accommodated our requests for a king bed and first floor room. Activities and amenities: Our daughter loved Crimzone and the children’s pool. It was hard to get her to leave. The Saturday foam party was fun and the pool staff were engaging. My wife and I both availed the spa and wow, we can see why they won an award for Best Value in Asia. The price was affordable while the quality of service was top-notch. Food: The buffet breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. My favorite item was the fruit and veggie smoothies. Who knew bakchoy and mango blend well together? But it was the attentive staff that really made breakfast a great experience. We tried the 24-hour room service and I swear the chicken club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in my entire life 5/5! The lowlights: Here are some reasons why we are not giving Crimson an excellent review. 1. Overpriced/low quality food in Saffron during ala carte dinner. Our first night we arrived in the evening and were hungry. For two people (our daughter is a toddler) we paid over 5000php for an appetizer, 3 entrees, one beer and one bottle of water. Honestly, the price would be ok for this amount of food if the quality was better. I would suggest Aka or Enye for higher quality food although we didn’t try either. Saffron was empty that night and we found out why. 2. Distance to places/sites. Crimson is quite far for shopping or eating at other restaurants. We hired a private car for 3 hours and was only able to visit two sites and one pasalubong store. Luckily it was only moderate traffic on that Saturday. 2500php for a sedan for 3 hours was reasonable. 3. The gift shop is waaaay overpriced. 950php for a small tube of sunblock seemed very high even at a resort. We also wanted some souvenirs, but there wasn’t much variety at all. 4. Our room needed some TLC. The paint in the nice tub was chipping, the caulking in the showers could use a refresh and there was a huge ipis (roach) in the closet. Luckily we spent most of the time outside the room. 5. No floaties or life vests for toddlers to use, even for rental. Despite having almost everything else, this would have been a nice touch. 6. We came to Cebu for mangoes and lechon, but Crimson didn’t offer these items and again, because of distance, it would have been nice to have some at the hotel. The bottom line: We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others, however we would give them our full review so they are aware of the pros and cons. Thank you to the wonderful staff that made up for the minor issues we encountered!

recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The service was outstanding from the moment I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised to be allowed an early check-in, which made my trip so much more comfortable. The hotel’s environment is beautiful and well-maintained, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. What truly stood out was the staff—they were incredibly polite and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile whenever I passed by. Their attention to detail and warmth made my stay feel extra special. I highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and a delightful experience!

Beautiful stay at Belmont Hotel in NewTown. The room was a lovely size, well decorated and thought out. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The gym and onsite pool were very good. A 5 minute walk to the beach facilities (shuttle available) which included a large pool, restaurant, bar and beach loungers. The bar is pricey however- nearby Shamgri-La was cheaper! The WiFi is super fast. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The AC is quite loud however - doesn’t change temperature or speed, one fixed only despite there being a control.

La stanza era pulita, confortevole e abbastanza spaziosa. C'era un mini armadio, un tavolino da caffè e una poltrona. Avevamo una Smart TV in camera e tramite quella potevamo accedere al mio account Netflix personale. C'erano un mini/frigorifero personale, un bollitore elettrico, tazze, bicchieri, cucchiaini, piattini, una piccola cassaforte, accappatoi, pantofole da hotel, articoli da toeletta di base e bustine di caffè, panna e zucchero all'interno della stanza. La colazione era deliziosa e la posizione dell'hotel in sé era eccellente. Avevano un servizio navetta per la spiaggia e circa 4 o 5 posti dove mangiare. Sono solo dispiaciuto che l'orario del check-in fosse alle 15:00 e quello del check-out alle 11:00. Mi sarebbe piaciuto rimanere un po' di più lì.

We booked two rooms and we were only able to get one room when we checked in and the other room an hour and a half after! We followed up multiple times and complained about how the room wasn’t ready when it’s already the check-in time. They told us that the staff was already on the way up to bring the key card for the other room yet it took a long time (given the fact that the rooms were just at the second floor, above the lobby) when we followed up for the third time, we were told that the card was being brought from the main wing that’s why it’s taking so long like? we literally got the key card from our first room on the front desk lobby below our floor (ocean wing). They are also very strict about the room capacity that you have to pay 3k plus to pay for an extra person unlike other four-five star hotels. The room was also dusty, my boyfriend kept sneezing non-stop when we went in the room and had to take anti-histamine. Facilities were great though.

Cebu itself was a bit of a downer. However the hotel and staff were quite nice. The hotel grounds and beach was clean at all times but outside of the hotel was.. well.. unsightly and smelly if you plan to go for a walk. There are 2 nice restaurants nearby but if you plan to bring your food back or order take out by delivery, the hotel will charge you 250 pesos. The food at the hotel itself was okay, breakfast had lots of options and both restaurants at the hotel offered variety. The rooms were also spacious but their aren't any drapes so if you plan on sleeping in, that might be tough as you'll get up as soon as the sun rises. The walls are also thin and my first night was dreadful with a loud family next door. The staff did try their best to get them to quiet down which was appreciated. The pool and gym were also good and the pictures are a true representation of the hotel. Overall, the ambiance and light music was good and helped me to finish my 5000 word essay so that was great 👍

It's a quiet place so if you like to have a vacation with family I think this place is perfect. They have a bar though to sip and unwind facing to the beach it's such a great ambiance. They also have restaurant with a classy and elegant vibe. What I like is the hotel is really clean and modern their staff is very polite and hospitable. With the food hmm I like the breakfast than dinner both are buffet. The time we went there they have a Zumba in the pool and I find it cute seeing guest doing Zumba together.
