Hotel in zona Bougainvillea Village, Lapu-Lapu

The specific hotel is just 20 minutes driving from the Cebu airport. Its location is excellent. I can say that it was a small paradise. There is a huge pool with a bar that you can spend your day. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was huge. The room was amazing, very clean. The Cara Spa was excellent with professional staff. Also, the Nonki restaurant offers one of the best sushi i have ever tried. Thank you for making our honeymoon so unique!

I spent most of my time in Cebu at the hotel because the facilities were amazing, and the hotel has private beach access. It's pretty far from Cebu City, but the staff are incredible. Highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for a resort vibe. 

We just returned home from Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. It was our first time in Cebu. It was a short but great trip. The highlights: Accommodations: We chose Crimson because we frequent high-rise hotels when traveling and decided this time we wanted a villa/bungalow type of room. No hallways and no elevators. Crimson checked those boxes. They also accommodated our requests for a king bed and first floor room. Activities and amenities: Our daughter loved Crimzone and the children’s pool. It was hard to get her to leave. The Saturday foam party was fun and the pool staff were engaging. My wife and I both availed the spa and wow, we can see why they won an award for Best Value in Asia. The price was affordable while the quality of service was top-notch. Food: The buffet breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. My favorite item was the fruit and veggie smoothies. Who knew bakchoy and mango blend well together? But it was the attentive staff that really made breakfast a great experience. We tried the 24-hour room service and I swear the chicken club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in my entire life 5/5! The lowlights: Here are some reasons why we are not giving Crimson an excellent review. 1. Overpriced/low quality food in Saffron during ala carte dinner. Our first night we arrived in the evening and were hungry. For two people (our daughter is a toddler) we paid over 5000php for an appetizer, 3 entrees, one beer and one bottle of water. Honestly, the price would be ok for this amount of food if the quality was better. I would suggest Aka or Enye for higher quality food although we didn’t try either. Saffron was empty that night and we found out why. 2. Distance to places/sites. Crimson is quite far for shopping or eating at other restaurants. We hired a private car for 3 hours and was only able to visit two sites and one pasalubong store. Luckily it was only moderate traffic on that Saturday. 2500php for a sedan for 3 hours was reasonable. 3. The gift shop is waaaay overpriced. 950php for a small tube of sunblock seemed very high even at a resort. We also wanted some souvenirs, but there wasn’t much variety at all. 4. Our room needed some TLC. The paint in the nice tub was chipping, the caulking in the showers could use a refresh and there was a huge ipis (roach) in the closet. Luckily we spent most of the time outside the room. 5. No floaties or life vests for toddlers to use, even for rental. Despite having almost everything else, this would have been a nice touch. 6. We came to Cebu for mangoes and lechon, but Crimson didn’t offer these items and again, because of distance, it would have been nice to have some at the hotel. The bottom line: We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others, however we would give them our full review so they are aware of the pros and cons. Thank you to the wonderful staff that made up for the minor issues we encountered!

This hotel is amazing and has the perfect staff, area, room, beach. Every my request was answered and resolved. I hope I could return this hotel because I enjoyed my trip especially staff. Breakfast was great. Also hotel has its own beach area when you can swim and snorkeling, but I recommend to use special shoes because there a lot of reefs.  I was after long trip and I could relax there. 

Pro e contro del soggiorno qui.. Pro: 1. Ottima posizione 2. Navetta gratuita per la spiaggia 3. Area piscina 4. Palestra 5. Colazione al sacco per noi quando siamo dovuti partire alle 2 di notte per un tour 6. Area spiaggia esclusiva e privata Contro: 1. La camera puzzava di umido e muffa 2. I bagni sono MOLTO piccoli. Non c'è una porta di vetro che li separi. Usano una tenda. 3. Ciabatte e acqua dovevano essere richieste. 4. Il check-in è durato 4 ore. Sì. 4 ore. A quanto pare la camera non era pronta. Siamo arrivati ​​alle 12 e abbiamo fatto il check-in solo dopo le 16. 5. La colazione è deludente. Meglio optare per una camera senza colazione e mangiare fuori dall'hotel perché c'è molta scelta. 6. Il cibo è davvero pessimo. Soprattutto il cibo indiano e un po' occidentale. Abbiamo ordinato del cibo seduti a bordo piscina. Il vindaloo di montone era come uno stufato denso con un pizzico di piccantezza. NON ORDINARE CIBO IN HOTEL. Fai una passeggiata fuori dall'hotel, ci sono pochi posti dove mangiare e prendere un caffè, incluso Starbucks.

Un’esperienza difficile da descrivere. . . 1. Il banco del check-in non diceva affatto che per andare in spiaggia dovevo chiedere un cartello alla reception, alla fine mi sono recato a piedi fino alla cosiddetta spiaggia privata dell'hotel (a quasi un chilometro dal hotel), e la persona di turno mi ha detto che avevo bisogno di un cartello! Ho camminato 3 chilometri avanti e indietro per andare in spiaggia! ! ! Perché nessuno ha comunicato in anticipo informazioni così importanti? 2. Sì è una spiaggia privata, i servizi sono ok, ma è in costruzione, ci sono più lavoratori che turisti e tutti hanno tirato il nastro giallo, è impossibile fare una foto, l'ambiente non è una vacanza stato affatto. 3. Originariamente era una camera con vista sul mare, ma il vetro era sporco e sembrava che fuori piovesse. . . Questa è la prima volta che incontro un hotel con vetri così sporchi. Anche la vista del mare era a 2 o 3 chilometri di distanza, ma tutto quello che potevo vedere era la rovina davanti a me. . . Al piano di sotto ci sono tutti i bungalow, un disastro, ehi. 4. C’è una piscina, è così piccola che mi vergogno troppo per entrarci. I bambini urlavano e giocavano nell'acqua e potevamo sentirli chiaramente all'ottavo piano. 5. Nella stanza, quando il condizionatore è acceso, sembra di entrare nella cabina di un aereo e il rumore è fortissimo. E deve essere regolato a 16 gradi per ottenere un po' di brezza fresca. Per non parlare dell'odore di fogna. Quando ho visto alcuni commenti su questo problema, ho pensato che non fosse un grosso problema. Oh mio Dio, è stata un'esperienza davvero dolorosa. Era anche estremamente umido, quindi ho dovuto asciugare il letto con un asciugacapelli prima di potermi sdraiare. 6. La reception non sapeva quali domande porre e non aveva nemmeno una mappa locale o un'introduzione alle attrazioni. Alla fine un addetto alla reception ci ha dato un'idea dicendo che sarebbe più conveniente noleggiare un'auto, che l'autista fornito dall'hotel è più affidabile e che in 5-6 ore possiamo visitare più di 10 di Le attrazioni più famose di Cebu. Dopo aver finito di giocare, sono quasi scoppiato in lacrime di gratitudine. Di conseguenza, siamo stati portati in giro per 6 ore e abbiamo visitato 2 attrazioni. Il resto del tempo è stato trascorso negli ingorghi. Abbiamo speso 5100p (quasi 700 RMB) su due attrazioni? ? ? Non è uno scherzo internazionale? Questo è il nostro quarto mese di viaggio e siamo stati in 5 o 6 paesi. Questa è la peggiore esperienza di alloggio che abbiamo mai avuto, principalmente a causa dei problemi di prezzo/prestazioni, e ci sono grossi problemi. Spero che non cadano tutti nella trappola.

We booked two rooms and we were only able to get one room when we checked in and the other room an hour and a half after! We followed up multiple times and complained about how the room wasn’t ready when it’s already the check-in time. They told us that the staff was already on the way up to bring the key card for the other room yet it took a long time (given the fact that the rooms were just at the second floor, above the lobby) when we followed up for the third time, we were told that the card was being brought from the main wing that’s why it’s taking so long like? we literally got the key card from our first room on the front desk lobby below our floor (ocean wing). They are also very strict about the room capacity that you have to pay 3k plus to pay for an extra person unlike other four-five star hotels. The room was also dusty, my boyfriend kept sneezing non-stop when we went in the room and had to take anti-histamine. Facilities were great though.

Very nice hotel with beachfront view and with great hospitality and amenities. Staff very welcoming and attentive to guests. Breakfast with great variety and quality. Fitness center is quite good. Rooms are big and comfortable. It is a very good resort to relax but it you are looking for walks and things to do outside the hotel, it is difficult.

Supply air diffuser noise was substandard. I could not sleep well. Maybe it was like 50 dBA. It should supposedly less than 35 dBA. Toilet shower vavle and the tub drain were malfunctioned. Ocean view room is too pricey for a small room. The breakfast buffet, and the amenities were great! I would not recommend staying there for long as it is too pricey for a small room with noisy supply air diffuser.
