Two nights near my old home
The only down side was the bathroom sink in room 8 was slow to drain. We require a bed be super hard; this one was manageable by sleeping sideways. The service was great -- catering to my wife's dietary needs with flourish.

Staff was amazing, and communication during and after booking was excellent. The building (built in 1830) was excellently maintained, and furnishings/decor struck the perfect balance between period and modern. The included breakfast was cooked and served in the upstairs dining room (former ballroom/meeting room). Parking was adequate and on site. The surrounding area was convenient and remote enough to be quiet, yet near necessities. The on site pub had excellent food and was reasonably priced. All in all, it was an amazing experience (for our 50th wedding anniversary), and everything we'd hoped. We'll be staying again.

The hotel is very quaint, built in 1830. From the outside it looks like the building is not in good shape but the inside is ok. The room was fine. AC was good and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were fine. There's a pub adjacent which has excellent food at a good price and is busy at night. The traffic can be noisy at times but wasn't too bad for the most part; we slept well. There's no elevator to go up to the 3rd floor but that wasn't a problem for us. Overall we liked it.

You can always tell if an Inn Keeper is experienced and cares by their attention to detail and the comfort of their guests. The room has night stands on both sides of the bed with lights you can actually read by. There are black-out curtains and even a noise canceling device to mitigate the traffic noise which is inevitable with its crossroads location. The bathroom had a separate stand to set your toiletries. There was a drawer in the buffet in the hallway where you could get an item you had forgotten. Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented. Check-in is 4:30, but if you think you'll need an earlier time email the Inn Keeper 24 hours prior and she'll send you instructions for self check-in. A lovely stay.

Wonderful stay
This is a very nice historic inn. We stayed in room 6 which was exactly as advertised. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and was cooked to order. Lastly the attached pub was a nice perk and enjoyable. My girlfriend has already said that we will still here again the next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here. It feels like you are staying in a historic place. The breakfast was in a lovely room. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Convenient to Ithaca. Convenient that there is a restaurant onsite. If we are in the area again, we would stay here again.

The Inn is a treasure as it is a community history lesson with photos and artifacts of the area and of the many colleges and universities. The rooms are lovely, plenty of parking with a pub attached serving good food. Even though there are no elevators, the staff is eager to help with luggage. Breakfast is served in the "ballroom" and we wished the walls could about the adventures of days gone by.

Rooms large, clean, very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious! Nice connection with the Pub below. Visited for second time and plan on visiting again. They remembered us in both the B&B and Pub
