Seevital Hotel & Spa - Ihr 4 Sterne Superior Hideaway Direkt am See

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights for business trip. The location is perfect, some steps from the lake. We arrived at 21:10 and asked if we can eat anything in the hotel, but understandly the reasturant was closed. We asked if there is any open restaurant nearby but the lady at the reception said, everything is closed. After parking our car, we were surprised that some restaurant is still open, so the information in the hotel was wrong. The room was OK for the first glampse, but the carpet was fully wet around the bed. On the second day we went to the hotel restaurant to have some dinner but it turned out that there is an event (still with some empty tables around). We asked to eat some very light soup or so, but we were refused in an arrogant and unpolite way: "if we have problem, go to the reception to reclaim". I am convinced that is not the way of communication with any of the guests. So we went to the neighbour hotel to have a great dinner. Summary: never again to that hotel

Stayed for 5 days with our toddler and the hotel couldn’t have been better! Attentive staff, good sized rooms with air conditioning, modern interior and great location. This will be our place to stay when we’re back regularly.

The hotel is in the town centre by the lake edge and accessible by car for (un)loading (then park car in council underground parking nearby). The hotel gave us a parking permit which cost €7·50 per day, although you can pay in the car park, which is probably the better option if you are driving around all day (which you would be mad to do given the excellent train and bus public transport). The hotel looks quite unassuming in comparison to local architecture. Our room 201 was ample in size with view to town. Room has a hallway, then walk past sink and wardrobe, enclosed lavatory and enclosed shower, into bedroom part. The mattresses were very comfortable, effective air-conditioning, insect screen on windows that open inwards, very quiet. The reception area is small, unlike the spa area which is generous in size, with two saunas (the one with lake view far too hot for me) but the smaller aroma sauna was just right (think Goldilocks). Water and tea available for free and ample rest area. Good free wi-fi connection everywhere. The breakfast choice was vast and good quality, although the scrambled egg didn't convince me on that score. Choice of sitting indoors or out (with the annoying wasps). Would wasp traps that I have seen in UK have made a difference? Had one dinner there and the food was very good. Sadly, did not have low alcohol wine or no alcohol wine available with meal, so had to stick to boring water. Service was good, although I was baffled why waiters were not wearing a neck tie with their suit. There is a high demand for cycle hire, so book in advance. Also have moped hire available. It is likely we will return to Langenargen again and we will stay here again, but this time leave the car put and use the excellent public transport (which was free for us tourists) to visit nearby towns, which were stunning in beauty and cleanliness.

Super déçu par cet hôtel . Nous voyageons beaucoup et tjrs dans des hôtels qui acceptent les chiens, 25 euros pour le Loulou par nuit le must ) en France c’est 15 ! … Le chien n’était pas accepté au restaurant . Résultat nous avons mangé dehors tout le séjour petit dej et dîner …. On nous a dit de prendre des couvertures ! Une honte . Plus jamais ça et zéro geste commercial. Bref dans ces moments là on se sent seul au monde .

Sehr freundliche 6nd zuvorkommende Begrüssung, Zimmer mit Seesicht super, im Bad war es sehr warm... Vom Essen waren wir total begeistert.das Frühstück war lecker und sehr vielfälltig......Das Abendessen war lecket...eine vegetarisch/vegane Seite wie auch eine Fleischseite...zusammen oder auch nur eines, wie das Herz begehrt, sehr reichhaltig und spitzenmässig gekocht..,top sehr zu empfehlen, gerne wieder

Beim Check in habe ich mir die Parksituation erfragt. Der Parkplatz gehört nicht zum Hotel, ist einige Gehminuten entfernt und man muss dort selbst ein Ticket für 15 Euro pro Tag lösen. Ich finde in diesem Fall ist es ein Graubereich dass man auf *********** damit werben darf dass ein Parkplatz zur Verfügung steht. Die Zimmer waren etwas hellhörig und komisch konstruiert. Das Waschbecken und die Dusche sind nur mit einem Vorhang vom Bett abgetrennt. Der Spa Bereich war ok, aber es wurde den ganzen Nachmittag kein Trinkwasser aufgefüllt oder benutzte Gläser weggeräumt. Außer einem Fenster in der Sauna ist der spa Bereich sehr dunkel und etwas trostlos. Auch der Service beim Frühstück war unpersönlich, wenigstens eine Begrüßung/Verabschiedung hätte man sich vielleicht erwartet. Erst wollten wir im hoteleigenen Restaurant Abend essen gehen bis wir gelesen haben dass es kein Sterne Restaurant mehr ist, die Preise aber immer noch sehr hoch sind (Restaurant im Hotel Engel nebenan war jedoch wunderbar). Um das Erlebnis abzurunden muss man dann beim Check out noch ungewöhnliche 5 Euro Energiepauschale pro Nacht pro Person zahlen. Wenn man noch die Parkgebühren und Kurtaxe dazu rechnet zahlt man also mehr als 15% extra des eigentlichen Zimmerpreises. Naja .. wir werden uns das nächste mal für ein anderes Hotel entscheiden. Nach meiner Buchung über *********** wurde ich ungefragt mit Newslettern zugespammt – ohne meine Zustimmung! Ein Abmeldelink? Fehlanzeige. Stattdessen soll ich extra anrufen oder eine E-Mail schreiben, um aus diesem fragwürdigen Verteiler entfernt zu werden. Absolut unseriös und ein klarer Verstoß gegen Datenschutzrichtlinien.
