Exceptional Hidden Gem! No Tourist Hassle, Just Pure Heartfelt Mongolian Hospitality and Amazing Comfort❤️ Our three-night stay at Hunnu Tourist Camp completely exceeded our expectations. It offers insane value for money and is the ultimate choice if you want to escape overcrowded commercial traps and experience the true harmony of Mongolian nature and genuine human connection. Pure Hospitality with Zero Hassle (Our Deepest Impression): The best part about this camp is the vibe. The hosts give you complete peace and space—there is absolutely none of the aggressive upselling or tourist hassle you often find elsewhere. They might seem quiet, but they are deeply attentive, showing their warmth through thoughtful actions rather than loud words. July Summer Comfort & Cozy Bedding: We visited in early July. Even though the daytime temperature reached 30°C outside, the inside of the ger remained surprisingly cool, airy, and refreshed without any air conditioning. However, summer nights on the steppe can plunge to single digits. To our delight, the beds were equipped with electric blankets, and the hosts even proactively brought us an electric heater because they were worried we might get cold. We slept incredibly warm and soundly! Wonderful Included Breakfast & Great Dining Options: Complimentary Breakfast: A delicious buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. It was a wonderful surprise to have a varied spread of fresh vegetables, meat, fruits, and boiled eggs on the steppe, along with comforting Korean seaweed soup and traditional Mongolian hot broth. Dinner Recommendation (Khorkhog): We highly recommend pre-ordering the traditional Mongolian stone-roasted meat (Khorkhog). It takes about 2 hours to prepare, so we usually ordered it during breakfast for our dinner. The portions are huge and come with a great variety of side dishes. Paid À La Carte Options: For other meals, the restaurant offers an excellent and affordable daily menu of Mongolian and Korean dishes that are freshly made to order. We loved the Kimchi tofu soup with rice, stir-fried spicy pork belly, handmade mutton fried noodles (Tsuivan), and crispy Khuushuur. Everything was satisfying and very well-priced! The Sweetest Check-out Gesture: On our final day, we had to catch a chartered car back to Ulaanbaatar Airport (UBN) at 7:00 AM, long before breakfast hours. We went to say goodbye to the host the night before and mentioned we would leave our ger door open upon departure. Hearing this, the host immediately went to pack a breakfast box for us for the next morning, filled with boiled eggs, fresh cucumbers, and mandarins. Receiving this thoughtful, handmade meal in the chilling steppe air deeply moved and healed us. Facilities & Activities: Shared bathrooms were kept spotless with abundant hot water. The surrounding nature is stunning for hiking, featuring lush meadow wetlands, unique gully erosion, and roaming livestock. You can even spot the Genghis Khan Statue Complex in the distance. The camp has its own stables where you can pay to ride horses directly to the Tuul River. They even provide traditional Mongolian costumes (Deel) in the lobby for guests to try on for free. Final Thoughts on Mongolian Culture: Throughout this journey, I deeply felt the spirit of the Mongolian nomads, who have coexisted alongside horses, sheep, wolves, and harsh blizzards for thousands of years. They hold a profound reverence for nature, viewing humans and animals not in a hierarchy, but as equal living beings nurtured by the same earth. This dignified, grounded, and unpretentious attitude is worlds apart from modern commercial societies, and it is precisely what made this journey so rare and precious to us. A perfect 10/10!

An Absolute Gem in Terelj! Modern Comfort Meets Breathtaking Wilderness 🏔️✨ If you are looking for a place in Gorkhi Terelj National Park that perfectly balances modern luxury, endless entertainment, and untouched natural beauty, Imperial Mount Resort is the ultimate choice. The Ultimate Host: The biggest highlight of our stay was the resort owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent English. Having a host you can communicate with easily in the wilderness is a game-changer. There is absolutely no need to join a rigid group tour; the owner quickly arranged a private driver for us (at our own expense) to visit nearby attractions like Turtle Rock and the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. It allowed us to customize our own itinerary and enjoy total freedom. The Vibe & Accommodation: The resort is beautifully designed with a sleek, modern wooden main building. We stayed in a Duplex Dome, which offered incredible space and a skylight for stargazing. The biggest luxury was the private, clean bathroom with excellent hot water and separate wet/dry areas—a rare find that completely redefines the typical Mongolian camping experience! The resort sits in a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic rock formations and roaming horses, giving it a dreamy, ”Little Switzerland” feel. Top-Notch Amenities (All Free!): Unlike other remote camps, this place keeps you entertained. Inside the main building, there is a designated Ping Pong room, a billiards table, and Karaoke rooms—all completely free to use! Outside, they have basketball court, volleyball court, a colorful children's playground, and BBQ pits. Incredible Food: The dining here blew us away. The included breakfast was fresh and relaxing. However, I highly recommend ordering their ala carte dinner. They serve a fantastic mix of Western and traditional Mongolian dishes. We ordered the grilled meat skewers with fries, a massive chicken Caesar salad, a comforting hot vegetable and meat stew, and traditional Mongolian Huushuur (deep-fried meat pastries) and Buuz (steamed dumplings). Everything was incredibly flavorful and hearty! Horseback Riding Nearby: There is a professional horse ranch run by a neighbor just 100 meters away. It costs 30,000 MNT per hour, which is very reasonable. Tip: If it's your first time riding, I highly recommend hiring a coach to guide you for safety. Verdict: 10/10. An unforgettable stay with amazing hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Il servizio è stato eccellente, la signora Nara è stata estremamente disponibile: quando mio marito ha notato solo 2 bottiglie d'acqua, è tornata subito con 4 bottiglie e un buono per un drink di benvenuto. Ci ha anche fornito informazioni sul festival. Quando siamo andati via, ci ha aiutato a prendere un taxi e ha detto all'autista la destinazione nella lingua locale. Il cibo al ristorante al secondo piano era delizioso e a prezzi ragionevoli.

Ho avuto un piacevole soggiorno in questo hotel. L'hotel era pulito e ben attrezzato. È particolarmente positivo sottolineare il personale di servizio amichevole e ausiliario. Anche il personale di trasferimento era affidabile e pre-avvento. In totale, una buona esperienza – Mi sarei tornato!

L'hotel ha aperto intorno a maggio 2025. Siamo molto contenti di aver trovato questo nuovissimo hotel a Ulaanbaatar. È ancora nuovo, quindi molti aspetti sono ancora in fase di adattamento. Gestite le vostre aspettative e assicuratevi di prenotare la camera correttamente. L'hotel si trova all'interno di un centro commerciale ”collegato” a un altro centro commerciale. L'area ristorazione vende cibo che per noi è più che accettabile. La camera è spaziosa. Circa 41 mq. Se, come me, amate i letti rigidi, adorerete questo hotel. Vi consiglio di fare colazione altrove. Nel complesso, adoro questo hotel. Se dovessimo tornare, questa sarebbe la nostra prima scelta. Avevo sentito recensioni di amici che dicevano che un hotel a 5 stelle avrebbe dovuto essere un resort, ma non è stato all'altezza delle aspettative. Questo hotel ha superato le nostre aspettative in termini di pulizia, dimensioni e comfort.

In generale, era buono. Ho appena avuto sporco fungo da bagno. Dopo che il mio amico mongolano ha chiamato la ricezione e ha chiesto di sostituire con un nuovo fungo, non era fatto. Quindi ho appena comprato un biancheria nel negozio di Emart. Bene dopo aver usato un inchiostro.👍

Выбирали отель недалеко от вокзала, чтобы удобно было ретироваться пешком (до него буквально метров 500) – в Улан-Баторе нешуточные пробки. Завтрак специфический, но найти, что покушать вполне можно. В соседней двери от отеля находится круглосуточный продуктовый корейской сети CU. Номер соответствовал заявленому. Есть проблема с розетками – их буквально на весь номер две (при чем одна из них в ванной). Зато умный унитаз!

La camera è spaziosa, pur essendo una singola. La biancheria da letto è pulita. Ho dovuto ricordarmi di portare i prodotti da bagno. Gli asciugamani lasciano molto a desiderare. Per tre giorni non ci sono stati asciugamani puliti, la spazzatura non è stata portata fuori, non c'è stata pulizia. Forse non volevano disturbarci :)). Colazione a un orario scomodo, dalle 9 alle 10, e in generale niente di cui parlare. Dovevo partire presto la mattina, ho chiesto di preparare dei panini, in realtà è arrivato il taxi, e a quanto pare l'hanno fatto, tutto è stato molto lento... Il personale mi ha aiutato con domande su dove e dove andare.
