UUtente ospiteThis hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance.
I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable.
One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient.
I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall.
The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests.
When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!

Dopo il check-out, mentre ci preparavamo per il check-in dei bagagli, eravamo già in fila lungo la corsia dedicata. Il viaggiatore precedente ci ha indicato in inglese dove depositare i bagagli e il personale era sorridente. Quando è arrivato il nostro turno, la dipendente ha smesso di sorridere. Non mi sono preoccupata del fatto che non sorridesse, visto che ci aveva già detto in inglese di fare il check-in dei bagagli, sembrava aver capito. Ho ripetuto due volte che non importava se non capiva, ho anche usato il linguaggio del corpo, indicando i bagagli da registrare e una pila di cartellini di plastica per identificarli. La dipendente si è mostrata impaziente di procedere con il check-in dei bagagli. L'impressione è peggiorata notevolmente, ma fortunatamente un altro dipendente, un uomo, si è dimostrato gentile al momento del ritiro dei bagagli.
A parte l'atteggiamento della dipendente, gli altri dipendenti sono stati gentili e disponibili.

Thoughtful Amenities
The welcome ice cream for my sons was a delightful surprise. It was a thoughtful gesture that made them feel special and added to our overall positive experience.
Duty Manager Mr. Andei Ho
One standout moment of our visit was when Mr. Andei Ho, the Duty Manager, came to assist us during one of our evenings at the hotel. Being a Hongkonger himself, he made us feel right at home. When we returned from a day out and needed to store some belongings at the concierge, Mr. Andei approached us and warmly communicated in Cantonese. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help truly made us feel welcomed.
Proactive Assistance
After our check-out, Mr. Andei noticed us trying to call an Uber in the lobby and proactively offered to help by calling a taxi instead. Given that we had too much luggage, he went above and beyond by marking the pick-up and drop-off locations for us at the Airport Express Station, ensuring a smooth departure. One day, he saw us waiting outside for a taxi and proactively asked a colleague to come over and see if we needed help calling a taxi.
Housekeeping
I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for their outstanding work. They kept our room impeccably clean and tidy throughout our stay, greatly contributing to our comfort.
Summary
In summary, my experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya was fantastic, thanks to the outstanding service from Mr. Andei Ho and the entire staff, including the diligent housekeeping team. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Aaw116hkgThe Nikko Style Nagoya is a truly wonderful hotel. The moment you walk into the lobby feels modern, warm and cosy. It is not your typical hotel in Japan. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The staff at the reception were very helpful and spoke good English.
The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, comfortable and clean, although the bed is a little too firm for me.
The buffet breakfast has a good variety, with plenty of local specialties. There is a choice of main course and I highly recommend the Japanese fish option. My only negative comment is that my used plates were not cleared quickly enough, despite the waiter walking past my table a couple of times.
The location is about 12 minutes away on foot from Nagoya Stain and 20 minutes on foot from the Sakae shopping area, but there are plenty of interesting small restaurants close by.
The price I paid was reasonable for the product and service offered. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

UUtente anonimoL'hotel era pulito e confortevole. Raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione di Nagoya. Una passeggiata leggermente più lunga rispetto ad altri hotel, ma non è difficile arrivarci. La colazione era decente e l'area della colazione era aperta agli ospiti con acqua e tè dopo la colazione. Molti posti dove mangiare e fare shopping nelle vicinanze, anche un minimarket è vicino. La zona non è rumorosa e la temperatura della stanza può essere regolata autonomamente. L'unica lamentela è il cuscino estremamente piatto. Nel complesso, ci tornerei.

1. Room and toilet is clean. Amenities is also provided but require to take from the lobby which I feel is good.
2. Located 5 mins walk from exit 3 of Metro Fushimi Station. There is also a bus stop along the way which can brings you to Sakae area and other spots. Otherwise, walking to Sakae area is doable as well. Additionally, along the way to hotel, will spot the scenic spot of Science Museum.
3. I had opted to walked to Osu Shotengai Street from hotel. As is autumn, the route along the way was great as will pass by a park with great scenery and people.
4. Lots of restaurants/eateries, convenience mart and drug store nearby.
5. Breakfast was provided and not bad for my taste even though almost the same everyday. There is a tea/coffee/water section where is provided for free.
6. Soundproof was actually good to my surprise.
Cons:
1. Room is quite small. I had brought 2 medium and 1 small luggage but only manage to open half of the 2 medium luggages. Barely able to walk and nearly trip on the luggage.
2. The hotel lobby is located at level 2 and require to take the lift. Believe was due to Japan public holiday or is a holiday season, the hotel was quite packed during my stay. At night when back to hotel, there was long queue to take the lift despite having 2 lifts.
3. Same goes for breakfast area, if you are eating after 8am onwards, too pack and the seating place are too limited.
4. Nothing much on the view as I had gotten a room with no views and overseeing opposite rooms only.
Overall, despite the small room size and others, actually I find this hotel to be nice to stay at. I definitely recommend to stay at this hotel despite there are only few minor cons.

C'è una presa USB di tipo C per la ricarica, quindi non è necessario portare un adattatore. Ogni giorno vengono forniti dentifricio, spazzolini da denti, pigiami, asciugamani e pantofole nuovi. La doccia è dotata di shampoo, bagnoschiuma e balsamo, tutti disponibili. Non è necessario portarli da soli, il che è molto comodo. L'hotel è in una buona posizione, a 12 minuti dalla stazione e all'angolo della strada.Il personale è in servizio fino a tarda notte, quindi le ragazze che viaggiano da sole non devono preoccuparsi del pericolo di essere nascoste alla porta al rientro in albergo la sera.
Il personale è stato molto ospitale. Il primo giorno, la borsa della trapunta e la federa erano macchiate a causa di un'emorragia dal naso. Il personale ha gentilmente detto che andava bene e che non dovevano nemmeno pagare per la pulizia. Gli sono stato molto grato. UUtente ospiteThe hotel is located in the 榮商圈, close to many delicious food options . However, it is about a 15-minute walk from train stations, which can be quite challenging when carrying luggage. The rooms, like many other Japanese hotels, are relatively small. The breakfast was tasty, offering three choices: Japanese, Chinese, and sandwiches. The last day since I had an early flight, I hoped the hotel could arrange a take-away breakfast, but unfortunately, they couldn't as the restaurant only opens at 7 AM.
