Tewitfield Marina

A wonderful three bed townhouse at Tewitfield Marina. Well equipped, clean and very convenient. Stunning setting and views. Will return in a heartbeat. Longlands restaurant and hotel is a two min walk away for a drink, food and accommodation if requiring additional lodgings. The weather was beautiful all week which added to the positive experience.

Just a brilliant set up! The apartments are beautifully light & airy, and well stocked. The bottle of milk is a lovey touch! The site itself is well maintained, tidy & feels really lovely to be in. As a family, it was perfect for us. The dogs had a lovely welcome package on arrival, the kids LOVED the apartment, the walks & being away - we had such a wonderful time

What an amazing place . Apartment was lovely and clean and everything you need for a self catering holiday . Lovely touch adding milk , tea and coffee to start you off. Fishing in the marina is excellent and not many people fish it . Excellent location to get to the lake district and lovely canal walks . Will definitely be returning here .

The apartment has everything you need including dishwasher and washing machine. There's a really good pub restaurant next door. There are areas where you can have a BBQ. Have awalk along the canal or just relax on your own private balcony or terrace.

Beautiful Marina Apartment exceptionally clean with everything you could ever need the towels are so soft and fluffy. Relaxing and peaceful location with a canal walks on your doorstep. Also handy for the Longlands pub next door for drinks and meals.

This is certainly not a five star holiday park. The accommodation we were given had the bedrooms very close to a noisy road. The downstairs bedroom curtains allowed the light from the pathway lights to shine directly in. Also the mattress and my pillow was lumpy. When we removed the pillow case the pillow was yellow in comparison to my husband’s white pillow. On removal of the duvet cover we noticed three stains on the duvet. The upstairs shower temperature was not controllable and I almost got scalded. The sealant near the bath was a little mouldy and a tile was cracked. Behind the toilet it was filthy, a lolly stick was there as well. The downstairs bathroom shower was blocked and the bath mat was ripped. Behind the cushions on the sofa there was debris so it had not been vacuumed prior to us visiting. The TV was not a smart one and it was very small. The manager emailed me to ask about our experience and I told him everything. No apology has been received.
