Premier Inn Nottingham North (Daybrook)

clean and tidy, but a bit pricey for just simply a bed overnight

I have stayed at this premier inn many times and always found the staff extremely helpful, also has a nice pub next door, which does great food. The hotel itself is one of the older ones and would benefit from modernising. there is no air con in the rooms so in the summer the room was unbearably warm. it was 26 degrees inside while outside temp was 13! We had two fans going all night and had the window open. it was not a pleasant sleeping experience. (room 119). i have stayed here in the winter and the room is cosy and warm. this is the first time i have stayed in summer.

I can’t fault the staff at all, very friendly upon checking in and check out. The rooms are getting very dated and on the ground floor and a bit dark. The room was mostly clean but the radiator that had been provided had seen better days and the sink and the bath took ages to drain properly. I stay here periodically when visiting family due to its location however it isn’t one of the best premier inns and would benefit with some modernisation.

Everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. The cooked breakfast was lovely, especially the bacon! There were plenty of options, whatever your requirements. No complaints!

Every week I come in with family for the cooked breakfasts, as the breakfasts are made by the amazing chef allyson, food always comes piping hot and made to order, very delicious. Very friendly and especially Kara who also works on the breakfast room. It’s always a pleasure and in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger ILL BE BACK . Kirsty x

Used Daybrooke a number of times but unfortunately it was not a pleasant stay this time. I had a top floor room and it was stifling hot even in Apr. That and not being able to sleep due to traffic noise spoilt it. However..... the staff were great asusual and the room and bed spot on.
