A beautiful stay in wonderful Grassmere. Room 4 with lovely juliette balcony, fabulous bath, spacious, beautifully turned out. Breakfast amazing , friendly staff, especially Craig, lovely to meet you. Will be returning for sure. Heidi s Cafe fits perfectly in this beautiful setting

Location was perfect. The room was so cute. Loved the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. It was nice to get a coffee made by the café; this felt special, instead of just drip coffee. All the staff I interacted with were very kind. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Grasmere. Thank you!

Stayed here on our Coast to Coast adventure and thoroughly recommend it. Accessed by a security code you are allocated a room which in my case was very spacious indeed. Overlooking the centre of Grasmere with its own private balcony/terrace. No evening meal but plenty of places on the doorstep. We wandered over to the pub opposite without a need to book on a busy bank holiday. Breakfast in Heidi’s cafe attached and accessed from inside.

We had the loveliest stay at this adorable bed and breakfast in Grasmere. The rooms were warm, cosy, and had everything we needed for a truly comfortable and relaxing visit. After a long walk through the stunning Lake District, soaking in the bath was absolute bliss. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, hearty, and just what we needed to fuel another day of exploring. But the real standout was the walkers lunch. Honestly, it was the best we’ve ever had! The brie and cranberry sandwich was out of this world—I’d go back just to have it again. The attached café had such a friendly and welcoming vibe, and the service was top-notch. Special mention to the lovely lady who looks after the rooms—she was so kind and generous, really making us feel at home. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cosy base in the Lakes with fantastic food and warm hospitality.

We stayed in room 1 in Heidi’s which was a large room with an excellent en suite. The room was very clean and well laid out with everything catered for that you could need. Outside was a large balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the centre of the village. No parking is provided but there is plenty of parking nearby if you get there early enough. We used the ringgo app to pay for parking which was really simple to use and we parked directly behind the lodge. The hearty breakfast was superb in the cafe below setting us up well for the day. Craig was a fantastic host and the staff were excellent all round with lots of advice and local knowledge whilst making our stay feel very homely. We would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely return. G&T

Heidi’s is an amazingly friendly cafe in the centre of Grasmere. Humans and dogs are well looked after by Craig and the team who serve great coffee and food as well and delicious breakfasts. Dods get their own towels on rainy days as well as water bowls and treats .

Another fabulous stay, room 3 on this visit which did state no view but we had the view of tweedies gardens which is better than a Brick wall in my opinion, we always enjoy our stay here and have already booked to return in August. The staff are so lovely especially Craig we love to have a catch up with him on all our visits. Breakfast top-notch too. A must visit in our book.

Would like to say we are regulars at Heidi s now and it always delivers but this time we’ve managed room 6 with a outside balcony which is simply stunning on 2 floors , spiral staircase , What a view !!! Breakfast usual excellent standard and always a warm welcome from the team
