Lakes Entrance: hotel a 2 stelle

This is a modest old-fashioned style motel about 500m from the city centre. The pool was warm and just the right size for family fun. We had Room 10 with views of the bay from our balcony, which was nice. Traffic noise is going to be an issue from morning to 10pm or so at all the motels on this Esplanade ***** in the summertime and the Abel Tasman is no exception. The owners were very nice and helpful. Rooms can be serviced daily at no extra charge and fresh, spotless towels are available on request. I was satisfied with the room, which I was able to get at the last minute even at peak season.

This is my fourth time staying here, came across this motel a few years back when travelling from QLD. Beds are comfortable, great showers and price is reasonable. Michael the owner has a great sense of humour and goes out of his way to make sure you have everything required (will even help with you bags). Use this as my stopover as I travel from QLD to housesit in the local area. Highly recommended.

Consente di soggiornare in questo B&B fantastico. Una casa di legno unica, architettonica con belle caratteristiche all'interno e all'esterno, ha viste di Bass Strait e è decorata con una vasta gloria ecletica di antichi, raccolti, Oggetti d'arte e divertenti. Ci sono quattro suite diverse (una di esse è un penthouse) e una grande zona da pranzo/divertimento con sede in balcone. Sono rimasto per una notte nella ”camera doppia deluxe con vista sul mare”, che aveva un letto a quattro poster (con un biancheria elettrica) e un bagno contemporaneo a piedi di claw tra le altre attraenti inclusioni. Mi piaceva il libero portatore di candele di luce (candele fornite), le diverse stampa d'arte e le stencils di neve sulle finestre. Il vetro tra la camera da letto e la camera da bagno ha dato un senso di spazio più grande e c'è un balcone arredato con vista sulla Strait. Per un'occhiata più vicina, sono stati forniti binoculari! Il manager ha fatto dei buoni sconti per il tè pomeriggio che erano lasciati nella cucina, con la salsa e ha freschi versati di crema per aiutare gli ospiti; quando ho controllato la mattina dopo, ha insistito che prendessi due dei restanti con me. La mia “cucina” - mini frigo, microonde, tostapane e salsa elettrica, con forniture di cibo e di cucina - era proprio fuori dalla suite in quello che era il “fine morto” di un corridoio. Lavato in cucina poteva essere fatto a pochi passi, anche se io raccolgo non era necessario per gli ospiti fare la loro. Le forniture comprendevano pane per tostapane e cereali (e succo d'arancia fresco!) ma anche un caldo colazione era disponibile. L'unica questione che avevo era che non c'era un punto di potenza vicino alla piccola tavola per collegare il mio iPad e il suo hub, quindi ho dovuto improvvisare uno spazio di lavoro (Credo che l'area comunale abbia avuto un più conveniente organizzazione) ma non mi sono mai sentito, perché era un piacere rimanere in questo bel e interessante posto.

We found the Motel by just driving past after a day's travel from Narre Warren , and we hoped to stay in Motel for a couple of nights but once we settled in we decided for the price of $199.00 it would have been better to look around for better and more reasonably priced Motel , but being in our 70's we were tired . We were given room 22 and the amenities were poor . The shower had reasonable pressure and we had nice showers but door would not close unless you lift up the door . At the front door of unit was sand and on the double bed on the doona had sand on it as though someone else had been in the room but did not like all the mirrors , you just saw yourselves and TV if you had it on as reflection just went on into infinity . If you tried to wash dishes in sink provided in bathroom , which I also wet shaved in , you could not do anything with it as the push down plug was so perished you had to run water all the time as it was the only way to do it . That was so ironic as one of the main rules stickers around unit was to use water sparingly . Look it was noisy as there were a lot of bikies on their way to Philip Island staying and sound of TV in adjoining unit could be heard . For the price of $199 we were ripped off as we were given a Gift card of $200 from our Daughter to go on a break and little did we know the proprietor saw us coming and took advantage of it . We were naïve as we hadn't been away from our home because of being ill for sometime and should have done our homework but it was an adventure but will never give The Comfort inn the privilege of our money again . NEVER AGAIN .

We stayed early March 2022 in a one bedroom Motel style room with large ensuite. It was modern , clean and comfortable and very affordable . Mandy and her team were extremely friendly and helpful. We used Public Transport from Melbourne and found Heyfield very easy to access. Flat even walking distance to many eating options , both the Esplanade and Marine Parade. We took a Lakes Cruise which was extremely informative and enjoyable We are a pensioner couple in our mid seventies.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, 2 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room. We had a portacot set up in our room for our baby and there was still plenty of room to fit around the sides of the bed. The rooms are spacious, clean and have plenty of heating options. They have thought of everything, including iron, ironing board, laundry powder, washer and dryer, etc. We didn't use our car at all the 4 nights we were there as it is close to the main street and beach. Will definitely be back to stay again, highly recommend.

Nel centro della città dell'entrata del lago, la stanza è pulita e pulita.
