Beautiful Property in need of some TLC.
The property is absolutely beautiful and the location is great. However, the lodge we were assigned needed a more thorough cleaning as the carpet in the living room area had toenail clippings and crumbs and there was a significant amount of mold on the grout in the primary shower. The king-size bed was at least 34 inches from the floor which made it difficult to get in and out of. A cooler that we brought with us was used to step on in order to get in and out of the bed. Also, the mattresses on the beds in the 2nd bedroom and on the pullout need to be replaced. The pool and grotto could use a cleaning too. On the positive side, the lake views from the lodge were very nice. The grounds and beach were pristine and the resort offered several activities/events for guests. We also found the staff very friendly and professional.

Loved the lodge, beautiful grounds and convenience to downtown Lake George.
Only con was that our lodge was near the maintenance shed, which at times was quite loud. This was a slight annoyance. Wouldn't stop me from booking again

This property is beautiful. But realize it's just that. There is limited service and even though they charge over 1k per night they don't provide pool towels. They told me to go buy some at their store. Amazing property but that's all you are getting here.

Our 2 night stay
Very nice property, but for the price per night I feel that ice should be supplied free of charge, towels at the pool should be supplied and more than 1 pot of coffee for a 2 night stay.Everything else was very nice

Excellent place to stay with family and enjoy the serene Lake George. The property is very well maintained and kudos to the entire staff. The place is kid friendly and provides a soothing environment.

Grounds and room were very nice. Walls in units are paper thin and we unfortunately had a couple with a toddler and baby that woke up screaming and shreiking every morning at 5:30 am. Parents proceeded to talk to each other very loudly over the chaos. Miserable. We would leave and try to get a nap in the afternoon to make up for lost sleep but nothing changed...nonstop jumping on the floor and screams. We love kids, but these kids were totally out of control.

We loved staying here and were sad to leave. The cabin we stayed in had two bedrooms and two baths with a lake view and full kitchen. It was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and playing on the beach. I utilized the gym which had a nice view. My one complaint would be that the one treadmill in there was broken. We also rented a boat for a few hours one day which was a lot of fun. The Boathouse restaurant was really good and accommodating for the kids in our party. We are truly going miss the lake view and relaxing atmosphere.

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. One experience was we had dinner at The Boathouse Restaurant. As we were leaving a young man asked if we would like a ride in the golf cart back to our lodge. I know this may be his job but the way he spoke to us and handled himself was perfect. What a great young man. My wife recently had surgery and this was great.
That was one detailed encounter. All that we met were very nice and pleasant. Thank you.
