Lake Delton: hotel a 2 stelle

The cleaning staff was amazing, the pool was decently clean but there were signs of wear. The breakfast wasn't very good, on the lower end of free breakfasts for hotels. The Front desk staff was basically non-existent, left the previous check-in person's information on the screen when we started to check-in. The keycards to get in stopped working before check-out time. One of our rooms keycard stopped working the day before checkout and the other room the keycard failed for the rooms at least sometime before 8 AM on checkout day, we were lucky we left someone in the room when we were loading the car. Toilet flush would make noises in the shower and it just felt like the rooms were poorly constructed. It is a nice stay right now, and the price is good, the room cleaning staff did a wonderful amazing job, I cannot give them enough compliments, the beds were very comfy and everything worked well now. I just fear that as time goes on things will break and won't be fixed, (there was a very large chip in our tub) but while things are relatively new it should be a good place to stay for someone wanting to explore the Wisconsin Dells.

La struttura era solo 2 anni quando ci siamo fermati, e offre un'atmosfera moderna. Il colazione incluso era delizioso e completo. La piscina a pressione dell'impianto era spaziosa e sufficiente per la dimensione della piscina. Il patio ha offerto un moderno posto in fiamme 24/7, e anche una griglia a gas (che non abbiamo usato). Solo una slitta in alto - la nostra stanza non era pulita quando siamo entrati, quindi siamo stati rilasciati una stanza diversa. Prezzi ragionevoli per la qualità, la pulizia e le strutture incluse. Excellent stay here as always. this is my fourth trip to the Dells and I only stay at the Comfort Inn. Rooms are modern and clean. Showers are big with heavy glass doors. Plenty of light in the bathroom and sink area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always the best around. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

We just spent the weekend at this hotel and I'm shocked that Choice Hotels even has their brand on it. Our room was beyond repair in some areas --- banged up furniture, disgusting grout in the bathroom, bathroom wallpaper that has to be over 20 years old all peeling off, a toilet that was just barely hanging on. The tv in the room is one of the tiniest things I've seen and most of the regular channels didn't even work. The beds were comfortable. Lighting in the room was minimal and our desk lamp had two burned out bulbs. We called about them, but they never showed up to fix. The room was clean if you didn't look at the corners or beyond surface areas. The outdoor pool area is great for little kids. Easy to see them, great seating areas with plenty of space and on a busy weekend it was half full at the most. Had the service in this hotel been better, I would have seen past their dingy and old rooms, but only one person we encountered even cracked a smile. Everyone else was emotionless, didn't make eye contact or stared right past. It was the strangest thing. They are charging Wisconsin Dells resort prices and not providing even a quarter of the service.

My husband and I spent two nights at this hotel. We were warmly greeted by the staff. Our room was CLEAN! The complimentary breakfast was tasty. The location was convenient to all the area attractions. We were in a room on the 2nd floor near the elevator. It was quiet and relaxing. Bed was comfortable. We would 100% stay here again. Great experience. I cannot stress enough how clean the entire hotel was.

My partner is a patient at Mayo Clinic, so sometimes we stay in the Dells on our way to Rochester. When I noticed the new Avid Hotel had opened, I thought we'd check it out since I am a loyal IHG member. When we checked in, they told us that the hotel had just opened the prior week, so as you'd expect everything was new and clean. Outside of a little trouble with their check-in system, we had a smooth stay. The rooms are somewhat small, as I believe is consistent with this chain. The TV in the room is big though, and allows for easy casting from your device. There is a small fridge in the room - no coffee maker, but you can access free coffee in the lobby 24-7. Very comfortable bed. Free breakfast consisted of a small grab & go station that included things like granola bars, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit and oatmeal. They also had some hot ready-made breakfast sandwiches (and to my pleasant surprise, a veggie omelet). One small thing I didn't love is the bathroom lights are automatic - so anytime you enter, the light goes on automatically (even in the middle of the night where I'd rather it didn't). Also, if your shower is going a bit long, you might be left in the dark. Otherwise we'd definitely stay here again! It was a few dollars cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express, main difference (in my opinion) being they have a pool. This is also directly next door to a handful of restaurants and just down the road from Kalahari and the AMC theatre.
