Mia carità, quanto ci piaceva trovare questo motel a bordo della strada per la notte, qualcosa stava succedendo in Lake City e dovevamo essere prenotati, avevamo fatto un lungo viaggio stradale e non ci avevamo prenotati in futuro pensando che sarebbe facile spostare in città. Povero Gary sul desk era inondato con una coda di clienti e il telefono continuamente chiamava. Era insonnito ma infinitamente gentile, apparentemente. è stato qui per 13 anni, quindi in mente la compagnia è fortunata a tenerlo. Abbiamo avuto una stanza sul retro, quindi non c'è problema con il rumore stradale, letti molto comodi e tutto ciò che potresti avere bisogno, tra cui un frigo e una microonde. La posizione è molto buona se si desidera un pasto veloce in uno dei numerosi posti di pranzo rapido, ma abbiamo guidato un po' più avanti e trovato il bar più fantastico, Marianne Street Bistro e Brew House. Grazie Gary per averci aiutato a entrare in questo comodo letto per la notte, sei una leggenda.

L'hotel è in un buon posto molto conveniente non piaceva che la stanza non aveva una cortina di doccia e la stanza aveva anche roccia e la tassa per gli animali era costosa diversa da quella che il sito dell'hotel sembra bello

We are conveniently located off I-75 exit 427 .25 miles from 1-75 the closest Days Inn to Lake City VA hospital and just four miles west of Historic Downtown Lake City. This was a stop over (sleep) on a long trip & our very 1st stay at a Tru location even though we've been Hilton Honors members for a long time. We usually choose Hampton or above - but this location worked out. So the good. Quiet & had all necessities & served its purpose. The so-so /bad. These rooms are SOOO small and minimally furnished. First - digital key did not work so had to go back to the desk to get a regular key. Second, we get in & one of the first things we do is get ice. We start looking for the ice bucket - usually near the coffee pot etc. No coffee pot. NO ICE BUCKET in the room?? Go to the front desk to ask for one & they tell us ice buckets are only on the 1st floor by the ice machine!! This would have been great to know when we came down earlier for keys!! Third, the room is very brightly colored - we even joked & said we were in the kindergarten room. No drapes only black out roll down blinds (which may best the best part of the room). No cabinets/ dresser etc. just pegs to hang stuff on & the very basics. Decent noise levels for sleep. Breakfast quality was sub Hilton properties, as was the service. Not rude but just uninterested in helping guests. Likely our last Tru stay.

We called this hotel to find shelter from Hurricane Ian. Called the night before the storm. Day of storm the governor of FL told everyone to shelter in place. I called that morning explaining the situation and canceled the reservation. A day after I was notified that the hotel had charged my credit card over $1200.00. The entire stay for 2 rooms. When I called them again to question it I was told they couldn’t do anything because I booked through a third party site Hotels.com. I started calling them regarding the charges and was told the hotel charged us. After numerous attempts to speak to property manager and not one return call I had to have our credit card company get involved. I will NEVER use Fairfield Inn and suites, the Marriot corp or Hotels.com again. This has been a nightmare to deal with them! I DO NOT recommend them!! 🤬🤬🤬
