The Hills Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

Great one in this area but remember don’t take the room face the highway side. The room face to hotel pool is wonderful! The room is clean and hotel staff very nice and kind. I stayed the hotel 5 nights, it was a delightful experience. They assigned a room face the highway side which is very uncomfortable, I feel the room was shaky while the car passed by. I request change a room. The front office staff helped me immediately. The room face the swimming pool is wonderful. The hotel location is very convenient. I will choose here again if I visit Irvine next time.

Good morning. My complaint was with the desk staff. I had been up at 3 am driving over 9 hours to watch my son play football in LA to then (late at night) check into my hotel room, which I paid for months ago through the highschool, to be denied at the desk for check in by JoJo. His customer service is horrible. He had us going in circles and I had to repeat myself over and over. He used whatever he could to get me to double pay for a room I already paid for, even went as far as trying to trick me to pay a "deposit fee" when in reality he was trying to charge me for the room. He made me wait for over an hour late at night, exhausted... for the coaching staff that bought and paid for the team rooms to be able to clear it up. Even they went in circles with staff. And JoJo tried to make it look like I was the one being uncooperative and LIED to the coaching staff about our conversation. Check your video, I'm clearly upset and almost in tears as he sent me away multiple times! The room was wonderful, but having staff like this makes me question how this hotel is run. Extremely disappointed. Communication need a definite assessment and JoJo is not a good fit for your front desk. I would never treat anyone they way he did, he had zero empathy.

A great group of people running this place. Kudos to the person in charge of hiring! Also, Very nice facility and grounds. Definitely return if opportunity arises.

This is our first time stayed in this hotel. The location is good, just off the freeway. The hotel is very busy with guests. The parking is almost full on Saturday night. The room is spacious and clean. Some areas may need to fix or touch up. The bed is comfortable and bathroom is clean. They have restaurant on site but we didn’t get to try. We will definitely come back in the future.

This place is amazing..friendly staff,pleasant hotel, comfortable beds and pillows..nice pool and bar. In a great locatiion..Down the way was the Irvine Spectrum Mall..Good eats and shopping. Rooms clean and spqcious.
