We returned this June after having a brilliant holiday at the same time last year . Everything was still beautifully clean and the apartments and pool area very pretty. Slightly disappointing was the change of staff and the pool side menu. There wasn’t much choice for breakfast or lunch , although it is now open until later in the evening. Also the staff were not as helpful , and had limited English and so it was difficult to ask questions . We had a lovely stay , but probably wouldn’t return, which is a shame .

A lovely, clean, modern appartment. We had a two bedroom second floor appartment with two balconies - one pool facing, one behind. Very spacious, good furniture including on the balconies - good kitchen, bathroom and air con. The Girimar team were incredibly welcoming, from first arrival to departure. Thank you Margarita for all your good tips and friendly service. Housekeeping every day was a treat. The breakfasts were huge - the pool lovely and when we were there, quiet. Always a lounger available. It is as people say, a 20 minute walk to town- but it is a quiet peaceful area. There are a few pleasant cafesnear by for breakfasts, a good supermarket and we liked being midway to the beaches. It is very easy and cheap to get an Uber or Bolt to town or back, so do not be put off by the location. Highly recommended.

Where to start! This is not a 5 star hotel but gets top marks from me. For cleanliness (when I say spotless I mean it)! , welcome and friendliness of the staff, spacious, good decor and very comfortable flat, peaceful part of town and a wonderful pool area with good food and drink options brought to you with a smile. Stayed here for 14 nights in a pool view apartment. The pool area and sunbeds are well maintained in lovely gardens. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the cleaning team are efficient and pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the beds and bedding excellent. The decor of the apartment may benefit from a little TLC but this is a minor issue. Would certainly stay again and recommend the place as good value for money.

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment in Lagos. The location is close enough to everything but not in the city centre, the staff were UNBELIEVABLY KIND no matter what the ask or support was, and the actuality of the apartments are so perfect. The rooms are so spacious and they provided so many towels and amenities for short or long stays. The pool area is so relaxing and a beautiful resting spot after a long day of hiking around the hills and beaches. I wish we could have stayed longer! 10/10 recommend.

Just back having spent 12 days at the Giramar Apartments. Lovely accommodation with all requirements met. Special mention for Ana and Rita. They were lovely and very helpful. View of wall if on ground level but two balconies is a great help for morning and evening sun. No problem getting pool bed. Will be back

My sister and I have been starting at this place with my 8 months Old twins. We stated for 8 days. Prior to booking and after booking/prior to arrival we had special requests for baby beds, baby chairs and where to put the stroller. They were all met. The apartment is just amazing. A lot of space, very clean and simple. The living room is very practical, the bedrooms have big closets and the kitchen has everything you need. The reception is very friendly and can help you with anything you wish for! If you are starting in Lagos: Book this place

This is a small development of about 24 units. Its very quiet and may not suit those looking for entertainment and activities. During the day one can avail of reasonably priced snacks and drinks by the poo. The staff are outstanding and very friendly and helpful. A special mention for Rita and Cathia who looked after us very well during our recent stay. Having own car is convenient but it only takes about ten minutes to walk into the centre of Lagos. There are a few restaurants locally but we did not find any of them to be exceptional. Great Intermarché supermarket about 5 minutes drive away, lots of take away meals. A good experience.

My daughter booked 4 nights here so we could visit my son who lives and works in Lagos. Very clean and spacious. We had a problem with hot water on the second morning so they changed apartments for us without any fuss. Great pool views and balconies. Decent bar although it shuts at 6pm. Very pleasant stay and friendly helpful staff.
