This has been one of our favorite places to stay over the years, we sometimes stay 2-3 times a year. Sadly, I think we might look for a new place to stay when we visit Lafayette in the future. The staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating this visit. Check in was great, fast and easy. Our room was dated, but fairly clean. I didn’t report it, but one of the lamps was missing on one of our nightstands, so it seemed dark in the room. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner, grime in the doorway that may be permanent, I couldn’t tell. Hot water took forever to come out of the shower. A/C seemed to be broken most of our stay. The other BIG problem this hotel has is people who aren’t guests using the pool. This time, they had a system. Park in the nearby parking lot, get a housekeeper to let them in, then enter through one of the pool view rooms that a housekeeper was cleaning, to make it appear they are guests. I know they weren’t staying in that room because when we went to the pool, the inner door was opened and the housekeeper was cleaning, no guests were staying there. This kind of thing has happened the past 4-5 times we’ve stayed here. Mother’s Day, they parked in the parking lot and set up a complete party complete with obnoxious music, food, screaming kids running around on the pool deck and not one of the people was staying at the hotel…they never are. I don’t know what can be done because it’s so easy to enter the pool from the parking lot UNLESS they go back to having to use your key to enter the gate and instruct housekeeping that their friends and families done have free reign over this pool, it’s strictly for guests and ENFORCE IT IS ONLY FOR HOTEL GUESTS. We paid for our room, and expect peaceful use of the pool, these people aren’t guests and shouldn’t be allowed to use the pool when guests are just trying to relax out there.

The front desk staff was super friendly and greeted me with a smile! Gave me advice and where to find good Cajun food and printed out names and addresses for me. The rooms are very nice and the beds are super comfortable plus it was clean! Housekeeping isn’t lacking at this hotel! I will definitely tell my friends and family about this hotel for when they visit Lafayette!

Una semplice soggiorno. La stanza era bella. Hanno bisogno di più lavoro sulla pulizia. Ho dovuto chiedere un altro confortante, perché ho avuto la sporcizia e i capelli su di essa. Il letto era comodo. Il bagno era bello. Il servizio è stato colpito o scomparse.Il signore al check-in era brutto e non ha ascoltato quando gli ho detto che ho pagato. Ha caricato la mia carta di nuovo, invece di semplicemente metterla in custodia per incidenti. Ho dovuto farla correggere il manager la mattina dopo. Ci è voluto un po' di tempo, ma era carina.

I will try to be as unbiased as possible. It was only 5 days ago that I was in a newly constructed Residence Inn in a major city. Overall, Residence Inn Lafayette Airport was a really good stay. Pros: This place is extremely clean. The cleaning staff goes out of their way to make sure this place is clean from top to bottom. It has that fresh, clean aroma all throughout the property. The entire room was spotless upon arrival. Additionally, the front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They are very quick to respond to messages sent via the chat function in the Bonvoy app. I regret not getting the name of the agent that checked us in, but she was extremely helpful in suggesting local cuisine. Feezo's is now my new favorite restaurant for chargrilled oysters. Cons: The rooms are really dated and shows plenty of wear and tear. More specifically, the mattress was in pretty bad shape. It had hills and valleys from head to toe and was NOT comfortable. I'm almost certain it's an original mattress from the opening of the property. Same goes for the couch. It was NOT comfortable at all. The pillows and cushions were in very bad shape. Mind you, these items were very clean, but old and worn out. The tv's are also dated. They are really small, probably Gen1 plasma, 24 inches. The channel lineup was impressive, however. I haven't seen that many channels in a hotel in a while. In conclusion, it was a good stay. I was more impressed with the cleanliness than the actual room. Breakfast was ok... food was good, but there was no cheese at all. I haven't decided if I will stay here again in the future as I am accustomed to a more updated hotel atmosphere.

Questo è un posto dove rimango sempre questa volta ho notato che il personale era un po 'più giovane che fa le pulizie e non ha fatto un buon lavoro dato che gli altri lavoratori hanno solo bisogno di stare al di sopra solo perché sembra pulito non significa che sia pulito, devono solo pulire e asciugare i pavimenti perché ci sono fuoriuscite dall'ospite precedente?

This was obviously an older hotel that Wyndham purchased and upgrades were implemented for the most part. We enjoyed that you could park at your door unlike the usual hotels. Check in/out was fast. There was a breakfast. I just wish there were fruit and yogurt options instead of most carbs. But that's just me. It was all great!

The stay was really good! From check-in with Mrs. Mitzi to the checkout with Mrs. Dana! These ladies are what makes the stay much more pleasant. We had great rooms and even though the pool was not working, everything else was right on. I did not have any issues with my stay even with my late checkout. I would highly recommend this place!
